I don't see why not. This is supposed to be the "moral equivalent of war" isn't it (I seem to have heard this phrase before somehow.

We had them in WWII and I note we actually won that one (We also had them under Nixon for much less reason)

We could pay for them by taking back the 20 billion annual subsidies the government gives to the Oil Cos. That way the burden wouldn't fall on everybody BUT them like it does now.

When Monetary Inflation exists, price controls are unnecessary, since wages rise with prices.

Price controls would be warranted if Wage Inflation existed.

Demand-pull Inflation and Cost-push Inflation are price controls, so there's no need for government price controls.

No, I don’t believe in price controls at all on a domestic level. Thomas Sowell explains price controls best.

Or how about Milton Friedman who describes the Biden administration policies wanting to even heat it up even more

I personally believe that price controls will fail.....
I feel we need a Basic Minimum Income that is comparable to welfare but it is UNCONDITIONAL and from cradle to grave......
but.... it must go to all Canadians and to all Americans so that NOT WORKING AND NOT PRODUCING is no longer rewarded.......
.... and being productive and working is no longer PUNISHED.....

... INCREASING PRODUCTIVITY and economic freedom is better than price controls.

This idea is not really mine but I read some of the ideas by economist Milton Friedman and then came up with this and simplified it so that it could be marketed to a wider and wider audience.

If the Pro-Life community were to embrace this idea it could cause an amazing boom in North America and would soon be replicated in other nations as well.

Would a Basic Minimum Income dramatically reduce abortions?

The method by which this unconditional but taxable B.M.I. is financed is the key to making this happen.....

I believe that President Abraham Lincoln and J.F.K. showed us how this could and should be done.

I believe that Dr. Milton Friedman is absolutely correct in this explanation!!!
