Yes. I reached out to some of the officers. If you have information on anyone negatively impacted by the riots you are referring to, please feel free to pm me their contact information.
Can you link to your posts in which your heart is broken for other criminals killed for disobeying a direct order from a law enforcement officer?

Of course, as with the Russians and Ukrainians, I am saddened by all unnecessary deaths. No, I don't believe Babbitt is a "heroine" any more than any of you think Floyd, Johnson, etc. are heros. The heros and heroines are the Capitol police officers. It's sick that anybody flips that switch and now their attackers are the "victims". Beyond sick.
No. I'm not. I have never witnessed any other riot with our seated VP being threatened and cops being attacked by angry mobs at our Capitol.

I don't believe comparing riots by people that are second class citizens (they were ignored in whatever injustice happened that lead to the riots and they've been ignored in their rioting. Second class citizens can't pose a threat to our democracy) is comparable to a riot that left 5 Capitol police officers dead, hundreds injured and our lawmakers needing trauma therapy.

Can you point to any of those outcomes or similar outcomes for anyone impacted by the riots to which you refer?[/QUOTE]

Good point. It could be said that we punish those whom we love for the sake of truth and all others whom we love. It is when we don't care that corruption sets in.

When was that vote taken? I've heard LOTS of society saying he should be charged. It's with the DA in LA who doesn't charge anyone though.

Netflix just backed out of a new series planned with Smith.

There appears to be general outrage that Smith brought violence where none has been seen before. People are horrified. I don't think this is going to be forgotten. It sounds like Smith may be black listed.

Gives new meaning to Men in Black.

I don't pay much attention to Hollywood but I am really with those who are outraged. Smith crossed a line and will never be entertaining to me again. This will be hanging over anything with him in it. I can't look at him without seeing an *hole now.

I didn't read the whole thread so this might be a repeat.

What I especially like about this is he takes ownership for how his actions hurt others (unlike someone we know does his BS on camera and his apologists break themselves into pretzels excusing his nonsense and hate). I think we reward the bad guys but don't acknowledge the ones that take ownership for what they did. The same thing happened to Louis C.K. and I thought it was wrong.

If you would be capable of having homosexual sex then you are at minimum bisexual. I would not be able to preform with a female. I also know several heterosexual men that have tried to be with another man and were unable to.

That’s just how things work. Acceptance is the first step. And I would really cool it with the “half a brain” insults seeing your arguments here.

I would guess you would have the capability of performing with a female, even in a mechanical sense, if your life depended on it and she was more than willing.
I could see your claims that I have "bi-sexual tendencies" to be an insult, but then again, I ain't no snowflake! It's a behavior anyway.....not an identity.

Popular vote? That is not how the American justice system works.

I get it that you want Smith charged for whatever reason, but its not happening, and almost never happens in a case like this. The prosecutors have bigger turkeys to bake.

If, indeed, there is no necessity for the offended party to be the one pressing charges and the action was a crime, then, of course, he should be arrested and tried.

Except I couldn’t. I’ve tried. I know several other individuals that have tried to break their innate orientation for whatever reason and have failed. The ones that were successful were bisexual.

If you are insulted because of something you have identified as that seems like a you problem.

You said society has settled the matter, when was that vote taken to settle the matter, and jury's vote. I have specifically cited my reasons, try addressing them. And prosecutors prosecutors people for running stop signs. This was a public violent attack on someone by someone who showed and shows no respect for the law, acts as if he is above it and can get away with it. I can't think of a more appropriate case for prosecution.

Why do you think a violent assailant who does not respect the law and cannot control themselves should be allowed to get away with it scot-free?

I think he had no choice after watching the 48 hours of reactions and being told the Academy was considering further action. He desperately wants to keep his award and some status. He can always reapply to the academy and his not being a member does not prevent him from winning an award or even hosting in the future from what I have read. He should have HUGELY apologized to Rock THAT NIGHT. He should have left the premises and gone home instead of the fake emotions and then party all night. He has completely ignored the fact his violent assault was a CRIME.

You said the society decides, and I assumed you meant the justice system and now you think there is a popular vote ever time someone gets slapped in the face. Do you live in the US?

Our society makes such an attack against the law and we elect prosecutors to prosecute those laws.

What do you mean by society has decided?

Society is represented by the elected officials and the society does not expect them to prosecute every slap and cat-fight under the sun, when there are much bigger turkeys to be bake.

Why is it so important to you that he is prosecuted?

I have fully explained why he should be prosecuted, you have yet to explain why he should not be prosecuted. I think the poll I cited reflects on the actions society wants the prosecutor who is hired to enforce those laws we as a society create to enforce.

It was a bitch slap, and sure it's assault.
The thing is, what was hurt the most was the ego of Chris Rock.
It's astronomically more mentally then physical.

While Chris Rock did 100% mentally and 0 physical.
I can't say the difference is massive.

I can attribute that slim part of the physical at him to slapstick humor, and get over it.

It was an open handed round house hit to the side of his head which could have caused grave injury to Rock. His ego needs to be taught a legal lesson in life.

I see y’all have moved the word snowflake from being someone overly sensitive to now just being a personal insult to someone when there is nothing to add to a discussion.

Someone saying they are not a blond but instead a redhead isn’t being a snowflake. It is kind of sad that you are saying it is, but understandable seeing the quality degradation of the topic.

    Ah “christians”. Such wonderful people.
