Every idea of yours seems oriented to imposing YOUR will on others, using the government as your enforcement arm.

And, how anyone could think you're making sense here is beyond me.

Women who meet the necessary requirements should be eligible for the draft (though it would be up to the military to define what the requirements are).

Abortion doesn't have anything to do with it specifically.

And women being drafted isn't even anything "new" either - the Soviet Union was known for drafting a notable number of women into roles such as tank operators, pilots, snipers, etc, and the Soviet Union wasn't known for its wonderful stances on "human rights" either. (Granted though, they did do it in part due to a shortage of male conscripts).

So if there are still people in the 21st century acting like a dinosaur about the issue, when even the 1940s Soviet Union was already over that, then that's pretty odd IMO.

Yes, because men and women are exactly the same in every way! :roflol:

    And women presumably.

I'm in favor of giving women the choice whether or not they want to be treated equally in society.

And by that I mean do they really want to be treated just like men, and have all the bad that comes along with the good?
Yes, men don't have to have pregnancies... but there are other risks duties and liabilities...

But NONE involve growing a fetus inside themselves....nothing even close...

You: ""do they really want to be treated just like men, and have all the bad that comes along with the good?""

The answer is, and has been , a resounding YES.

But no one, woman or man, should be treated badly....men object to that, too...

If she even has any other kids. ... if she didn't abort them all.

According to the Guttmacher institute, 60% of abortion patients are in their 20s, and 25% in their 30s.
That leaves only 15% everyone else.

Hardly....maybe you should look up what the word means....it doesn't mean taking away women's rights...

Why do you think a woman who has an abortion has never had any other kids?

    That's not true.

I predict many trans men will suddenly want to stop being identified as such in the event a major all out war breaks out.

It will be interesting to see whether it's too late to turn back the gender change on the altered birth certificate then.

I know she has, but at that age she has usually adopted them away.

Do you think we should give a woman good credit for having chosen life, even though she later chose abortion during a different pregnancy?

Okay, tell you what, these women we can reduce their odds of being called up for war by half.

But if men have to take a risk, doesn't it stand to reason and be consistent that women should too?

You can argue that men should not be subject to the draft. But all my proposal is arguing for is to treat women more equally to men.
Abortion seems like a good dividing line. Let women choose their risk and obligation.

Where the heck did THAT come from?

Are you serious about your idea that only men are ready to defend America?

Do you have ANY idea how Americans have come to the defense of America from the time of our revolution?

You have an amazing lack of respect for women.

You do NOT know how many kids, if any, women who get abortions have.

LOL, another preposterous statement with NO proof to back it up.

    LOL

What!!!...This isn't one of your science fiction worlds where women "should be given credit" or not!!

    What a ridiculous idea!!!

Nope, no dopey weird science fiction world.....

    Really?

So, now you are in favor of reproductive rights for women?

Please let me know what changed your mind so dramatically. I'm very interested.

Oh, so there you want to give a woman a choice!

I thought you didn't want women to have a choice.

And being treated equally is not a choice, nor should it be....it just should BE.

Sorry, I don't know the term "mis gendering".

However, I do believe that women are as patriotic as are men.
