Illegal immigrant murders and the murders in the ghettos are no less important but yet we don't get 100 threads a day from the liberal bigot machine when an illegal immigrant kills a cop or a Black gang member kills a Black child.

Actually I have found if you will engage Vegas in discussion you will get respect and intelligent comments. While I disagree with Vegas on almost every aspect of the gun control issue we have exchanged ideas and I believe I now have an additional angle from which to view my own ideas. I think my arguments may be a little stronger and expressed more clearly because of Vegas.

No so-called assault weapons were used in Columbine. They used shotguns and 9mm handguns. One of which they turned into an NFA item by sawing the barrels off.

The deadliest school shooting in the US used a 22 handgun and a 9mm handgun with 10 round magazines.

It is already illegal for criminals and nut jobs to buy guns.
