I have probably tasted more Single Malt Scotches than most people have ever heard of. At least a hundred plus.

    What is your favorite?

Mine is Laphroaig 10 year cask strength. Laphroaig 10 year is like iodine but the cask strength is a completely different animal. Lots of character. Of course you don’t splash a drop of water but more than that. I convinced a person that only liked the milder and smoother Highland malts to try it and he was surprised and liked it.

Another question: What's wrong with blended whisky?

I’m not a scotch person, but we do have a bottle of Oban that we occasionally pull out for a sip.

I am happy with the blended sorts.
