…However, when the United States was founded on the principles listed in the Declaration of Independence — everyone created equal with God-given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness — history drastically changed. By focusing on individual freedom, limited government, and free market capitalism, entrepreneurs were able to create inventions and small businesses that "benefited millions," it claims.

"The resulting luxuries for everyone — from blue-collar workers to real estate tycoons — would've been incomprehensible prior to America's founding," the narrator says.

After listing entrepreneurs and innovators such as Walt Disney and George Washington Carver, and inventions like household appliances that allowed women to move beyond traditional gender roles, the video mentions the importance of protecting the American system of government.

"This system, which has pulled billions of people out of poverty worldwide and given historically disadvantaged groups the keys to their own life, needs to be protected," the voice-over adds.

While showing footage of Democratic politicians such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the video mentions how some have claimed that the U.S. was founded on systemic racism and oppression, thought it asserts that the reality is that all Americans of any background have opportunities available to them…

America is an exceptional nation. A beacon of light in a dark world. It is our economic system, capitalism mixed with freedom that has done more to alleviate poverty than any other force in human history. We must protest our golden goose from our domestic enemies.

In before the OPs second post!

Why does the OP want to "protest" the golden goose?

I watched the video and I found it funny, with people thinking that the moment you start a small business, you will become the next "Elon Musk" or "Bill Gates" of "Jeff Bezos."

for starters, although small businesses contribute 50% of our GDP yet at the same time, nearly 20% fail in the first year for one reason or another, and 50% of small businesses fail within 5 years. It is not exactly the rosy picture that the video is describing here.

Owning a small business is very competitive, and you are most at risk for going bankrupt because the lack of capital that is available to small businesses compared to the large corporations and MNC can obtain.

I would recommend if anyone is wanting to start a small business, no matter the industry, talk to someone you trust in that industry and get the low down, the honest opinion, and not some Hollywood style glamor advertising gimmick that may lead you astray. Once you get all the facts about what it takes, how difficult it is, etc, then make your decision. Otherwise, you might be the next contestant on Restaurants Impossible or some other show like that.

Our founding fathers would be flabbergasted, amazed, dismayed, etc if they were alive today. NO political party would be immune to their wrath on what is going on today, especially someone like John Adams, who personally did not believe in the political party system at that time. GW would chastise both Trump and Biden, democrats and republicans, and the governors who try to misuse the law to their own political gain. Jefferson would pretty much call out the Federalist Society. And Madison would argue that religious tests on anyone is about as UnAmerican as a British Loyalist.
