It looks great, but I think I would have gone with the rust, gold or orange tones that are in the floor on the walls because it might look look "warmer." Excellent job on the floor. I love it. Beautiful job. :)

That floor is perfect. The company should call it "Dirt Camouflage" - sales would double.

It is 4'x8'x4'. It is on wheels, but they may be undersized once I get it into the grass. It has a screened in 8'x4' grazing area beneath, but I'm hoping the dogs will let them free range in the 1/2 acre backyard.

We weren't sure what color was going to come out of the floor. The sample at Lowe's was darker, but we knew it was a gamble as the slate tile is natural and every tile is different. The floor plan is open enough that we were worried about clashing with the living room also. It's rough on bare feet, but I need to toughen them up a little anyway. We painted first while the baseboards were off and we didn't have to use a drop cloth.

It matches good. I just love those orange tones in the floor though. :)

We do that too, but we don't let her roam because she still has accidents unless she is confined. Once one dog wets, the others want to mark it. If weather cooperates, we keep the dogs outside during the day. We let them in randomly by themselves during the day. Pork Chop gets priority because he stays outside after dark if any dog is outside. He's the protector of the others from coyotes and bobcat. Pork Chop is a pitbull/Dalmatian.

Good mix. An Airedale would work - an Airedale/Dalmation or Airedale/Griffon might live longer. A hard wiry coat reduces the damage from a determined coyote or bobcat. A full coated Airedale can keep a mountain lion distracted long enough for you to get out there with a gun.

He looks like a pitbull with longer spotted Dalmatian fur. He has the big head and he weighs 75 lbs.

Should be able to kill a coyote, but they are smart enough to stay away from a dog like that. Wild predators probably understand hybrid dynamism better the we do.

So, it was freezing cold for most of the day and then this evening it started raining and got like 30 degrees warmer. Lol. Crazy weather here in New England. :)

Could be it is getting close to being a full moon.

People could be busy with other things. Seems to be a lot of turmoil going on and people suddenly realizing that actions have consequences or so the news casts would have you believe.

Ehh, blame it on the full moon.

If I compared this election and the newly elected president to a hurricane, Id say we are in the eye of the storm now.

Border collies are herding goats during the hurricane while finding Lima beans by the light of the full moon. Yup, sums it up.

No goats yet, Hey, did you know that male goats are the only ones that stink. Female goats don't stink, imagine that..

No. I didn't know that. Why only the males? To attract the females?

Goats cant smell as bad as pigs. Pigs in my opinion are the most repulsive smelling things unless they are frying in a pan.

these are the best dogs, they retail for 1800 to 3500 and come from england. the royalty used to keep them as pets, and they have noble blood lines. they are called 'cavalier king charles spaniel'

So there aren't many Male Goats.? as in " only ".
How about Gay Goats. I think a Gay Goat lives around the block in
my neighborhood. He's cranky and kinda different.
Instead of Celebrating the 4th of July he celebrates a 5th of rum.

I'm sure things will get more interesting once Trump is sworn in! Lol. But I digress, this probably isn't the appropriate place to talk politics. :D
