Found some semi ugly 'supportive' shoes. New Balance. Might be cheaper to buy new Achilles tendons.

Thx, I'll check it out. Just got thru with 4 weeks in a boot, now in physical therapy for 6 weeks. Takes a long time to get better, but I was relieved it wasnt something un treatable like arthritis. That would really be a biotch.

Watching the early evening news now to see what is happening at the last minute, and having leftover Salisbury steak and sangria wine with it.

Probably will go find a bar to watch the NBA playoff game tonight on ESPN.

I gave up on cable -- not worth the money.

You cannot heal gout.

 

But you can drink a lot of water. And there are very effective drugs to reduce gout symptoms. Google: "gout diet".

I thought the problem was Achilles tendonitis.

 

Tendonitis feels just like gout.

I'll tell you a funny story about leftover pizza like that ...

After college and grad school with a tour of duty in the USMC/USN (onboard ship) in between I got a job in Sunny San Francisco.

One of the ladies there (SWF) at work who was also new was very interesting so we went on a date on Friday after work to a pizza place near the office.

We picked out what we wanted on it but then the waitress asked us "what size?"

My date said "extra large!"

I said "we can't possibly eat an extra large."

My date said "we can finish it for breakfast tomorrow morning!"

The waitress looked at me and smiled.

Jackpot city !!

Homerun !!

Thank you God !!

 

And you can make tendinitis go away, but it is usually a tedious process.

Have you tried Allopurinol for the gout?

 

Did it smell like victory?

 

I don't do drugs.

I just wait for the gout to go away.

Not sure if @Falena completely did but we shall see.

 

My father dealt with it by drinking a lot more water, reducing fat in his diet, and taking Allopurinol - which is apparently a very old effective treatment with few side effects. Probably should Google it.

 

I'll just suffer through it when it happens.

It's only in a blue moon.

I have already cut down on meat and cut out caffeine almost completely.

And I only drink alcohol on Fridays now.
