Security cameras are the in thing now. Guess I should get with the times. I still use dogs.

 

Dogs don't snap photographs all that well. Time to get cameras if security is a problem there. Dogs with fangs sure make life a mess for burglars though. Best to have both.

Good morning and welcome back to Disneyland... er, I mean work. Today I'll be spending most of my time in Tomorrowland.

Dogs are great, but a couple of security cameras a nice to have. A least one covering each door. I have that plus one covering each wall of my house. Modern ones upload to the Internet and allow you to view from your tablet or phone. Nice if your dogs are barking and you don't want to get out of bed to look at a coyote.

 

Or a hard anything else.

 

It might take a couple of beers and a doobie. Hard to tell from that angle. OTOH, as my wife pointed out, she looks like she lost a lot of weight and that they are homeless. Meth heads?

 

Yeah, most of my neighbors have cameras. I'll prob get one sometime. For now, my disabled housemate spends most waking hrs watching the comings and goings of the neighborhood. Sort of a modern day Gladys Kravitz.

 

Cams, dogs, guns - the trifecta.

 

I have cameras on my house. I wish I would have spent more. At night the cameras are infrared, they broadcast infrared light into the viewing area but not near enough. If someone is within 10’ if the camera, you get a pretty good picture, but 30-40’ there isn’t enough detail to identify someone you are not familiar with. I bought a complete system online for about $1000.00. Next time I’m going to hire a company and have them demonstrate the quality.

 

Maybe she has an anchor on her other shoulder...that would even things out. Go Navy.
