    Under fire ... Tony Blair is questioned live on air
    Mr Blair told her: “I can’t suddenly just produce more dentists. We have to train them. I can’t force them from the private sector into the NHS.”
    Valerie said: “Mr Blair didn’t seem as though he had an answer.
    “The ten teeth I have got left are OK. But in another month or two I’m going to need a dentist.
    “It would be nice for somebody to take them out properly for me.”
    Ouch ... Valerie used pliers to pull teeth
    She added: “The only way to get rid of the pain from my teeth was to pull out the infected ones.
    “I had a few pints of lager then screwed up my face, put the pliers against the tooth and yanked. It’s lucky I like milk pudding and mashed potato.
    “My husband can’t stand to watch. But he’s lucky — he had all his teeth pulled out 30 years ago and got a set of false teeth for about a fiver.”
    The confrontation came on a live question and answer session with the PM on Sky TV.

    I'm under the weather and I really hate stuff like this.
    I gotta be real careful because I had a touch of pneumonia
    back 20 some years ago.This is no where as bad,but I just want it to
    go back wherever the hell it came from.It kinda crept up on me yesterday
    after lunch.The tooth is almost completely healed but I haven't tested
    it with eating.I skipped lunch today.Seldom ever do that.
    I plan my meals and I am at a loss.Had soup and a sandwich for breakfast.
    Those hot meals go a long way.I guess a really light dinner and no wine.
    Some megadrink and my supplements.I know how I got that pneumonia.
    I kept going into the cold garage { it was very cold } for more wood for
    the fire.Plus I was trimming it down into smaller pieces.Of course I was
    drinking like a maniac the entire time.

    Slept all day today again after getting more orange juice at the store.

    Now it's been 60 hours over 3 days and I am starting to feel better.

    Headache is gone.

    Runny nose is gone.

    Sore throat is gone.

    Cough is almost gone.

    Less weak (stronger) than before.

    I also use Zicam--at the first sign of a scratchy throat--but for "pre cold" prevention I economize by only using 1/4 tablet, as often as it takes for the scratchy feeling to go away. Seems to work well...I used to get horrible colds all the time, but now seldom do.

    I read somewhere Zinc is not as prevalent in soils in the US as it can be elsewhere; maybe we are all deficient in it.

    The one this year that the flu shot won't stop is supposed to be one of the more severe ones, so proceed with caution so you don't have a relapse.

    Don't swish when you brush and keep hot liquids away from the tooth socket to avoid "dry socket"--losing the blood clot plug--which is painful and bad for healing...or so my specialist tooth extractor told me a year or so ago....

    Self sufficiency has its limits, especially since you could spread the flu whenever you go out.

    Besides, you're depriving your sister of the opportunity to be...sisterly.

    I have the same results with Zicam it is good stuff. I usually take the whole tablet for insurance.
