Today is my Monday. For the rest of you it is your Friday and also Friday on the calendar.

So while you are partying I will be guarding a mall and kicking out the thug loiterers, the thug homeless, the boozing teens, the parking lot drag racers, the squatting illegally parked semi trucks, and keeping my first aid kit handy for anyone that gets injured while partying.

Alcoholism is a big problem among the boozing teens and the homeless.

Drug use is a big problem among the homeless and the loiterers.

Drug use also leads to petty theft like shoplifting.

And of course everything leads to possible injuries.

Party carefully, keep your distance from loiterers and homeless, and call-in when you see drunks and boozing teens.

pity the country that needs heroes, coddle and comfort its people, and let them suckle generously from the warmth and safety of the government teat.

    I decided Today that Tomorrow is me Birthday { It isn't }
and This Sunday is My Easter.
And I might decide that April will be my summer and July
my Spring. This Fall will be a toss-up.It may include an April Fools
day and a Fourth of July.
    I mean ... why not.

Grapefruit juice is good for you.

But some people cannot tolerate it.

I was playing in a big tourney in Vegas at the Gold Coast when we had two chip killers sat at our table. I was the Big Blind and down to a few thousand chips and I didn't even have enough to make the small blind for the next hand. The first guy bet and the second guy called. I believer there was one more player who called and I called. I had 7-2 in my hand and when the flop came I had a two pair 7/2. Needless to say the two chip busters got into a pissing contest and one went 3 bet and the other called. Of course I was all in. After the river came up the first guy went all in and the second guy called and I remember how each just thought they had won the pot as they both had pocket Aces and the river card was a seven and they both had two pair but I hit my boat. It was like manna from the poker gods as it gave me new life. I did make the final table but busted out early. Busting pocket aces by two players with 7-2 was one of those hands you just remember.

    Yup, poker tournaments are cruel.

I have concluded that tournament poker is just another lottery. Ultimately it all comes down to luck.

I have made it to a handful of final tables at our local poker bar, and won it all once. After a year of playing poker like that, it has lost its luster for me.

CORNED BEEF CABBAGE.jpg For dinner last night / this morning at 3 a.m.:

    - leftover corned beef with freshly cooked cabbage

    - fruity Sangria wine & a shot of moonshine.

The corned beef was as good as on day #1.

I have one more such leftover meal in the fridge which I will reheat and finish off now.

Today is my Friday. I was given Monday and Tuesday of next week off, because they need me to work on Wednesday and Thursday -- which are my usual days off.

It is a treat when Friday comes early!

    I don't consider Sangria wine.A wine cooler,yes.
Go to France { The birthplace of great wines } and ask
any Frenchman what they think of Sangria.
They will either walk away from you at breakneck speed
or maybe inadvertently vomit on the spot.
I mean take regular red wine and toss in oranges and
    berries etc. and add sugar.,
Who on earth ever thought that concoction up.

    Name this Famous woman.
" My sister was slim and beautiful and friendly, and my mother
always preferred her.I was the ugly duckling, fat and ugly and unpopular.
It's a cruel thing to make a child feel ugly and unwanted ... I'll never
forgive her taking my childhood away.During all the years I should have
been playing and growing up,I was singing or making money.Everything
I did for them was mostly good and everything they did to me was
    mostly bad. "

I'll quite often get unsweet, and add my own sweetener. I've seen them make sweet tea - a pound of sucrose (usually liquid) to a gallon of tea. OK, maybe a little exaggeration, but not much. *gag*.

    Maybe it's my northern blood.

I usually make my own sweet tea, too. Keep a box of tea bags at my desk and have an ice tray full of cloudy ice cubes in the break room fridge. ;)

Admit it, there's a small airplane sized bottle of vodka next to the tea bags. :D

I keep a bottle of moonshine in my freezer at all times.

It seems to last about a week, at one shot (jigger) per evening.

I keep 2 boxes of tea bags (without strings) on my counter top.

I brew a quart almost every other day. I add the sugar to it while it is heating.

    Less filling !!

    Tastes great !!

Yesterday after I completed my swing shift I was asked by Dispatch to fill in for a sick colleague and do a back to back graveyard as well.

    So yesterday was very lucrative.

Got home finally, fed the cat, who was pissed off that he did not get his late night out as usual, then got to bed.

    Slept 4 hours.

    Now I'm up.

    For breakfast --

    - 1 banana

    - 1 cup of strong coffee with it.

    Bananas are great for fiber.

    And they keep you regular.

18 hours after you eat a banana you will poop a banana and feel good about it.
