Aloe drinks (I prefer Alo) have the same result.

Banana's are Mother Nature's fiber supply and diarrhea antidote.

Plus a great source of Potassium ions.

Taste great on a banana split too.

I like to slice bananas and mix them with blueberries.

There are no "super foods." I try to eat a variety of fruits and vegetables and limit red meat. processed food, and alcohol. I'm a fanatic about exercising regularly and limiting stress. I don't know if this approach works for everyone, but it's worked for me for 7+ decades.

I'll check back in 20 or 30 years or so.

Most fruits and vegies seem like super foods to me.

We were born to be omnivores just like bears and pigs however.

    We need proteins.

The very best proteins probably come from salmon and trout. Those would be the super foods in the meat category.

I eat salmon occasionally. Colorado isn't exactly known for great seafood.

    Besides, fish tastes fishy. :fishing:

Fish tasting "fishy" is like venison tasting "gamey".

This is because the meat (fish or deer) was not properly chilled on ice quickly enough.

Fresh fish taste fresh. Same as for venison.

At least, so I have found.

The inland equivalent of salmon is trout.

    Both are pink meats.

    Both are related evolutionarily.

    Both taste really good!

Yes Ma'am. Her voice really moves me.I looked around and found
a place I could buy a Callas LP. I need to get her version of
    - Ava Maria - a classic I heard regularly at my Catholic Parochial
    school.I was an Alter Boy.
One knows she earned her stripes when Leonard Bernstein
considerd her " the Bible of Opera ".

For dinner late this afternoon --

    - shrimp and vegie ramen noodle soup

    - white pinot grigio wine chased with moonshine shots.

Today is my Friday on your Monday.

Nite E Nite bar flies. Time for me to catch up on my sleep.

A Greek girlie vs a French one?

I think the Frenchie wins that one every time.

Be careful about exercising.Remember what happened to jogging
    Guru Jim Fix - Running - { 1984 }.
Red meat is not the problem you are being told.
Charred Red meat yes." Charred " anything.
Stress is a major concern.Jogging effectively reduces stress.
I jogged for years in the 80's.Before that I played basketball on
the street. After work,of course. But then there are those like Rush
Limbaugh swore by how his Grandfather Lived.Never exercised and yet
lived to be over 100 yrs.old,I believe.
    I doubt many of the Old times who Willard Scott { NBC Weather personality }
celebrated on their 100th birthday ever jogged.Or lifted weights.
I think leading an uncomplicated and stress-free life is the key.
That is why winning a Big Lotto or Powerball is not healthy.
It induces stress and the compulsion to buy stuff.

Um ... May depend on if it's a Monday or a Friday,
Cuz Friday is pay day and hottie chippies like to boogie
on Friday nights.,I doubt Monday nights see much chippie action.
No matter if one declares a Monday their Friday.
The bestest place to be on a payday Friday night is
in Prague hitting the hot bars. With a fistful of loot.

    English Translation
    Yes, they call me Mimi
but my true name is Lucia.
    My story is short.
    A canvas or a silk
I embroidery at home and abroad...

I am happy happy and at peace
    and my pastime
is to make lilies and roses.
    I love all things
    that have gentle sweet smells,
that speak of love, of spring,
    of dreams and fanciful things,
those things that have poetic names ...
    Do you understand me?
    They call me Mimi,
    I do not know why.
    Alone, I make
    lunch by myself.

I do not go to church,
but I pray a lot to the Lord.
    I stay all alone
    there in a white room
and look upon the roofs and the sky
    but when the thaw comes
    The first sun, like my
    first kiss, is mine!
    Buds in a vase...
    Leaf and leaf I spy!
That gentle perfume of a flower!
But the flowers that I make,
    Alas! no smell.
Other than telling you about me, I know nothing.
I am only your neighbor who comes out to bother you.

    Mezzo Soprano

A family friend is a trained opera singer. Before my mom died she asked that she sing this in church for her before they carried her casket out. It was so overwhelming I had to keep telling myself to breath. Thank God my brother was sitting by my side.

This version and this woman's voice will always remind me of that.

In my day a favorite amongst Catholics. As with the Vienna Boys
Choir during the Christmas season. My Parochial Church was big
and had a grand pipe organ. The Organist and choirmaster was
Mr.Steppin.No one ever fooled around with Mr.Steppin.
He was short but extremely strict.I took Piano lessons
for 5 years under Mr.Steppin.I got bawled out twice for not
knowing or rehearsing my lessons. One time I knew I was
unprepared and decided to sneak home on the bus.But Mr.Steppin
thought as much and captured me from the Bus as it was about to
take off.I was yanked off the school bus and after that my final
piano lesson.Mr.Steppin called home and explained he no longer
could teach me Piano.Which was fine by me.But greatly disappointed
my Grandmother who wanted a Pianist in the family. She gave my
Parents a Baby Steinway piano for the house. My Mom had piano lessons
as a kid.I look for Piano LP's and CD's.Just ordered a Oscar Peterson
LP along with a Maria Callas LP.
I took up guitar a few years after those piano lessons.
    Such is Life.

    He has a * 6 LP set out from Germany { He's Canadian }
but it costs $ 199. I went for the solo LP also from Germany
but it's gonna take a couple weeks delievery.

    * Oscar Peterson { Exclusively for My Friends }
Considered even by Oscar Peterson to be his finest work.
The Intimate Trio set was engineered by Hans Georg Bruner-Schwer
    and from Oscar's private concerts.
You Tube has a couple of his Trio concerts.
He's a bit of a sweater and needs to use his hanky because
he plays so fast and uses most the keyboard.
    Not as fast as Art Tatum { he may be too fast }
I have 2 used LP's that I highly treasure by Don Shirley.
His stuff is way unavailable. My Loss.I come close to adoring his music.
I just got thru lucking out at the LP thrift store which
is basically a Comic book store.Probably have over a thousand LP's.
It was a rare 5 LP set by Earl Hines.I just got about 3 weeks ago.
The records are all in mint condition. That's a first for me at this
used LP store. Some records are beyond cleaning.
I have many Thelonius Monk LP's. I like his work but it's
    too repetitive.
