    Totally different Era.Them folk didn't even graduate High school.
    Went straight from Grade school to their Wedding vows,they did.
    Plus they stayed Married,thru thick & thin.

    The likelihood that one Graduating from Brown { Ivy league }
    making middle class wages is like slim to never.
    Out of 100 Brown graduates I bet maybe 2 % make under $ 60,ooo .

    Funny that, personal experience negates that statement.

    I live about 10 minutes outside of Cocke County, TN. Several of the gentlemen who spend their day up in the woods there have college degrees.
