No I haven't, and until recently, I didn't even think about it. It might be fun to try, just to say I did, but I would think I would need to eat a couple of dozen to get a 'meal' out of them. ;)

Our foundry employed about 300 in 2 or 3 shifts. In the summertime we went through 800 gallons of Gatorade per shift. Our carousel had a meat thermometer mounted on it because regular thermometers would explode in the heat. Most new people wouldnt last long....maybe an hour.

Fresh good quality Bread { Italian,French or Rye } toasted and
smeared with whatever favorite spread and then Cheese is easy
and great eats and tastes like one is in Heaven.
    Simple,good eats.
    I just finished making up my Salad { lasts 2 or 3 days }
Just add fresh romaine each time.
I have salad and either bread with lox or a nice sandwich for
    my lunches.

I am glad to respect your boundaries. :D

It reminds me of the time I talked with my 2nd cousins in the Midwest. My wife and I had split and they asked me what I'm doing with myself. Oh, mostly just chasing women, I replied, without even thinking twice about it. He said Well that's what you're supposed to be doing. But she was noticeably silent.

I was telling this to another cousin who gasped when I said it. What? I couldn't imagine what the problem could be. OMG she exclaimed. Jean was probably in church praying for you for all week!

Hello, I am Mork from Ork... Sometimes I think I'm on the wrong planet. :D

When I was in my teens I was in competitive swimming as well as a lifeguard. Doing sprints in the pool is triggering a lot of memories. I've swam laps but that doesn't yield the same sense of things. Sprints are killers! I remember feeling like this after racing. I'm REALLY liking this. Last night I was sitting here about 11 PM and wanted to go back down for another workout. The clubhouse closes at 10 so I couldn't, but wow, the feeling was intense.

I've had this happen when lifting heavy as well. You get a sense of addiction. Your body starts to crave it.

I was never very good in competition. I was competitive in the backstroke but mostly got my butt kicked in everything else. I'm more a rock than a race boat. :D And man I trained like hell too. I trained for years to try to make the Olympic team. But there was no hope. :D

LOL! You can't take me anywhere!

When I first met my ex wife, I was warned about her grandmother. She was notoriously mean, confrontational, and hostile. She was clearly the matriarch of the family by then but nobody liked her except her perfect boys [one being my father-in-law]. None of the women in the family were good enough for her boys. And granddaughters rated right up there with the dogs.

We met and everything went well. But then the subject of coffee came up. Uh oh. She didn't drink, smoke, drink coffee or most anything else. She asked why I'm drinking coffee in the afternoon. I said I drink coffee all day. Then she got really snooty and in very condescending tone said something like, Well I don't understand why a grown man would need to drink so much coffee! Why do you drink so much coffee!!! Don't you know that's bad for you?!?! Why do you drink so much coffee?!?!

Without even thinking I blurted out, Because it goes so great with all the cigarettes I smoke.

She didn't say a word after that. I didn't really mean to be so flippant. I would have normally shown more respect and been more diplomatic but it just popped out. Turned out I was a hero to my wife and most of the family. Nobody shuts down grandma!

For dinner I am having some KFC.

    I bought a 4 piece half chicken.

I always save the breast for the next evening for home made chicken noodle vegie soup.

I had batter fried zuccini the other night--nothing like it!

We use Aunt Jemima's complete pancake mix with an egg added for the batter.
