I did do that for a few years. The old trucks had a low roof with a fiberglass fairing over it. That was a well protected place for s bike. Now, the roof goes all of the way.

I suppose I could get a junker to strap on, like you say.

Actually, I hope not. I've got way too much to get done this week for it to be Friday already.

Life is not fun right now.

When you work every day of the week, it doesn't matter, nor do you even remember, what day it is.

As far as I can remember, it's my first ever favorite song. I saw the movie on TV when I was six or eight.

I work 6 day weeks through tax time (April) and every other 6th day when needed... I set my own schedule, as the work load requires.

Some weeks are nastier then others. Such as this week.

My schedule and those hours-of-service rules have conspired to keep me eating fast food these past few days. It's discouraging to have to stop short of, or drive past, my favorite restaurants.

If nothing bad happens, I'll be sitting down to a steak and martini dinner in about four hours.

They have decent enough (3 1/2 stars) food. It kinda makes up for the 1 1/2 star restrooms.

There is a steady stream of people coming in to buy lottery tickets.

You aren't in SC are you? Someone there won the Mega Millions. I hope it was someone who suffered damage from Florence and can use the money.

You can never have too many dog toys. My Border Collie will push the lid off of his toy box to get to his toys. He loves to run through the house with them.

But...but...we heard the call. It was a fox. We had to completely cover our chicken runs in wire ...top and botton...to keep the chickens safe from predators.

So it's day two of having this dog. I took leave for the rest of the week so I could train him a bit. Also hired a dog walker for when no one will be home.

He's adjusting pretty well. He's really friendly but I think he's still nervous in his new home. He found a hidden corner behind a lamp and next to the couch where he likes to sleep during the day.

He slept with us last night next to the bed. We got up at 5 and went for a run. He's currently on the floor on his back making hilarious noises, then rolling over and looking at me for approval

He's a strange but funny dog. I gave him a blanket for his crate and he takes the blanket and somehow swings it over himself and walks around (holding one end in his mouth). It's like he's trying to be Super Dog.

A fenced backyard and a dog door removes most of the hassles associated with dogs.
Training them to work without a lead makes it even easier. GL
