    I'm a regular here ... Palsy Walsy.
Which begs the question of how many of You Newbies are
here for just that.To do what Facebook and Google are guilty of.
I think a fair majority who post here have Ulterior Motives.

I don’t consider myself a newbie, been here about a year. But Tell me, why are you so weird? Can’t you just carry on a normal damn conversation without going off in the weeds? Why all the geekdom?

    This looks good !!

I have frozen shrimp in my freezer.

Easy to buy fresh spinach and sautee it in butter with the shrimp.

But I don't use garlic in my cooking anymore -- too hard on my reflux.

Since I roasted a whole chicken earlier, ate bits of it (drumsticks and wings) and put the rest into the fridge, I can now make a bowl of homemade chicken noodle vegie soup.

So this will become my midnight dinner now.

I just woke up after sleeping all afternoon and evening after my long 14 hour graveyard shift.

I have today and tomorrow and half of the next day off.

Not working again until Sunday night.

We have a couple of family restaurants around here with pizza.

I normally go to one of them for pizza. More filling. Tastes great.

I like their Julius Caeser. I also like a brand that I can't get with
a really nice smooth wrapper.Diamond Crown are among The most
expensive.I prefer Ashton also.Their Cabinet series.
Ashton Prime Minister is among the best overall.
Rocky Patel also has a Vintage 1999 Connecticut shade wrapper
    I prefer.Their Churchill.
I don't skimp around when it comes to a Premium smoke.
That is why a fair to middlin number of me Posts are also
vintage. You won't find Posts with my sense of rakish
    debonair just anywhere.

Even sterling silver of that period { {40,50's } has knives
that aren't all sterling. So those in the silver trade probably
won't even be interested in.I went thru this with my Mother's estate
after she passed a little over a year ago.My Brothers had no interest in
her sterling silver dinnerware set.Probably because they were already
rich.My Mother { who I was estranged from due to complications
involving the family business } left special instructions for my brothers
in a heavy safe to make sure I get another Silverware set she had for me.
It was also plated silver.Pretty much worthless. But it looks nice.
It has gold trim.I managed to get all { except knives } the real
    Sterling silver dinnerware.It ended up weighing { sans nice wooden box }
right around 10 lbs.I'm waiting for Silver to raise in price. It's under $ 15
dollars an ounce now.I keep hearing advertisers swear by Silver.
Buy ... buy ... buy. That's been going on for 3 or more years.
I bought silver about 10 years ago. I have an Australian
Kilo Kookaburra { 999 } silver embossed with Elizabeth II Australia.
I also have 5 oz. Silver coins in a very secure tight heavy plastic
container.I still have my meager Silver coins collected as a kid.
The Silver & Gold market eventually will pick up.
But it's been down for almost 10 years.

We could be having a quantum physics conversation about standing wave ratios and he would run in with a padded helmet and yell “applesauce “.

I agree. I was alone just the other night. Felt like years. Then after
she flushed she came back to the room and we watched more TV.

More homemade chicken noodle vegie soup for supper now.

You take the cold chicken from yesterday's roast out of the fridge.

You separate it from the bones.

You put it into a pot with a lid together with frozen vegies and flat noodles. You also add a chicken broth cube, a bit of salt, and some ground black pepper. Also need about a tablespoon of vegie oil.

Bring it to a boil on high heat then cover and lower the heat and simmer for several minutes.

    Yum !!

Homemade beats out of the can any day.

    Sunday morning breakfast --

    - classic ham and eggs (scrambled)

    - grapefruit juice to wash it down with.

The morning news shows are a great way to get up to speed on the past week and the week to come.

Kavanaugh will be questioned by the Senate during the coming week.

And McCain -- probably the worst pilot the Navy has ever commissioned -- will be laid to rest at Annapolis.

Sorry, but I actually like the smell of shrimp, and crab, and lobster. Let's me know what I am consuming.

You do know that sense of smell is directly connected to your sense of taste? If you can't smell it, chances are, you won't be tasting it either. Then what is the point of eating it?
