I'm just one of several who committee on raises and bonuses. I'm the only one not on the Keto diet (this month, lol) so donuts are fair game.

 

So, you are the weak link the workers can exploit.
Half a dozen cronuts would clearly soften you up, but your workers probably can't afford them until after they get the raise.

They should point that out to you.

 

Lol, well thought out, but you'd have to understand the members of the committee. Just because they aren't into donuts, doesn't mean they aren't susceptible to bribery. None of staff underpaid, a few donuts won't break the majority, only one who can't seem to get their financial life together.

The underlings have yet to try bribery, they know it won't influence me or the rest of the committee. Which varies, by the way, depending on what department they are in. My little fledglings are in accounting, but I do have input on HR and General Office, but with a lesser value on my 'vote'. Big Boss counts for a good 49.5 points, so to speak. He is a fair man.

 

When donuts and cronuts won't do the trick expect the proles to set a honey trap for BB.
