    Watch a couple of salsa instruction videos on youtube.com. Then crank up the Musica Urbana channel until your ears start to hurt and start moving - think of it as aerobics with better rhythm. Better if you can convince my wife it is good for her. :)

    Tyvm for asking. I Googled it for you and discovered even more that I needed to know.

    "Dancing may be done in the nude, with jewelry or even dancing silks. These silks are usually diaphanous and can be of any color. One common method of wearing the silks is to have them hung low on the girl's hips and fall to her ankles. The silks though can be worn in a myriad of ways, all dependent on the girl, the dance and the audience. Jewelry can be of any type but most likely would be bright, shiny and make noise. One dancer wore a belt of small denomination, threaded, overlapping coins. Slave bells are also very common on dancers. Most often, men will place slave bells on a girl and generally only one who has authority over the slave. The slave herself will rarely put them on. The bells are often placed on their ankles though they could also be placed on wrists, belts or other areas. ***Many slave girls know how to wear their bells to drive a man crazy with passion. *** Zills, finger cymbals, may also be worn by a dancer. They are worn on the thumb and first finger of each hand. The dancer will judiciously use the clashing of the tiny cymbals to enhance her dancing." (*** mine)

    Oh.
    Summer before last while partying on the top deck of the houseboat at Lake Powell one night I tied a glow stick to the zipper tab on my shorts. I’m not sure why but it seemed like a good idea at the time. The girls said I was twirling it pretty well. Guess so, my pelvic muscles were sore the next day.

    Walked the dog in Ballston (Arlington, VA area). He drank like 6 gallons of water out of a fountain nearby the Metro. I've almost got him trained to stop and sit at intersections. The only issue with that I am experiencing is that when I approach an intersection that I can see is open to walk through, he stops abruptly and sits down (sucks when I'm trying to run). Then I feel like a hypocrite

    More dog talk:

    I walked next door to Harris Teeter, came home and the dog had one of my couch pillows (that I use to prop next to the arm rests) in his mouth. He wasn't chewing on it, he's just carrying it around like it's a toy. Right now he has it in front of him but he's just about to nap. If I make any sudden movements, he immediately grabs the pillow with his teeth and looks at me like I'm going to steal it from him.

    What the heck????
