It's kinda sloppy out here, but pretty much kids stuff. Didn't stop some yay-hoo from rolling it over, into the ditch, though.

Oregon is reporting unchanged snow conditions over Santiam. Even so, they lifted the chain restrictions. :cheerleader: I assume that means that they spread a lot of rock on it.

An hour, forty-five minutes untill I know for sure.

Sheesh! I can't walk away, even for five minutes, without getting vandalized.

HINE is a pretty good Cognac whenever you can find it.
Bourbon and Scotch have usurped that genre of high class
Liquor. However there is no way to truly usurp Cognac.
    It's in a class all it's own.
Bourbon has gone so dopey that even Jim Beam has
Flavored Bourbon.I don't think that Scotch will ever try that.
But ya never know. There using Wooden Barrels aged in whatever now
for Bourbon { used for aging Cognac } and now even Scotch has
a brand using Bourbon Oak Barrels.
Vodka,of course is not aged. But ya never know.
I think I also say a Tequila aged in Bourbon Barrels.
    Ya know what I think.
Like maybe Message Boards need to go that route also.
Have message Boards soaked in Whisky barrels.
    I mean,like why not.It's The IN THING

Around 15-20 years ago, I pretty much only drank this stuff. It's too sweet for me these days. Aged the final two years in Sherry casks.

Road was good over the hill.

I wanted to stop and take a picture of the sign, but there wasn't a place to pull over.

You'll just have to imagine this being completely obscured by snow.

I'm curious to find out what a fifth cost back when { like 15 years ago }.
Cognac { a fifth of VS } was right around $ 20.The Major houses today are
are like $ 32 bucks. But Cognac is classified as either VS or VSOP
Or XO. I Grew to like XO which run rounds around $ 150 - $200 a fifth.
I just bought my 3rd bottle of Hennessy Paradis . It lasts me about 9 months.
I usually mix it with regular Hennessy VS.It's Ultra smooth and round.
I gave up on Bourbon around 15 Years ago.I stick with what I prefer.
Like Red Wine and Cognac. An Vodka with my Appetizer.I gave up on Beer.
I quit making Brew { Home Brewing } about 15 years ago.
    Paradis is Expensive.Over a $1,000 a bottle.There are a lot of good VSOP
    around $ 50 bucks.

I don't remember, exactly. It was $30something in Origun, back then. $32 or $36; I dunno.

    Merry Christmas, y'all!

Just finished shoveling the load of coal that Santa dropped off for me. That will keep the chill outdoors on cold winter nights.

Thanks, Santa! I always appreciate how much thought you put into my gifts. You always seem to know exactly what I need.

    ;)

Good Old U.S.of A. where it will be warm and muggy and thundertstrorms.
    Probably somewhere in Californayeee.

    But maybe s'not.

Merry Xmass everyone. Just thought I would check in. I have a piece of this pine with the paint sanded off and a coat of tung/linseed oil on it. With the exception of some green paint stain deep in the wood it looks pretty good. A planer set at about a 32nd of an inch should restore the finish side. Got a bunch of t&g heart pine....what to do?
