Ahahahaha that dog is a professional human trainer!

Did you put that skunk in your mouth and shake your head like you were tearing it apart?
    You can tell us.

I did put it in my mouth. I had my hands covering it and it confused him and made him want the skunk that much more. I'm not sure where the skunk is at the moment. He hides his toys. Probably thinks I'm going to eat them all

He's letting me sleep more. I got about 5 hours of sleep in a row last night without him messing around. He likes to wake up early, and so do I, so I think he's starting to understand that we go to bed early.

I think he's certainly learning to trust me more and more. This morning a trash truck came by, and it made a loud noise when dumping the trash, scared the hell out of him and he jumped next to me.

He seems to be acclimating nicely... new noises and such, and he's going to you for comfort. There's a bit of trust to that. :)

You have to let them know that you oppose destructive chewing. With some dogs a soft "no" and is enough - eventually. Search Youtube for tips.
A few of them may even be useful. ;-)

He's good with "NO!". When she came home, she gave him a stern "NO!" and he looked at me for help lol

He's great. Really clumsy though and it's funny. He farted himself awake while I was watching the morning news and I almost cried laughing. When he farted himself awake, he knocked his head into the wall as he was getting up and it caused him to tip over. I felt bad but couldn't stop laughing.

My ryegrass is coming up. Hopefully this rain will be good for a while. It is a 90% chance for tomorrow. This should be fine. Tons and tons of green for the goats. My best pasture is always my cool season pasture.

    Errands are run.

Run, ran, run for the conjugation of to run in American English.

I first visited the State Licensing Agency downtown about one of my state licenses.

    Then got groceries.

Now my cupboard and fridge are full.

Also bought a thin sliced rib eye steak to have for dinner before my next graveyard shift tonight.

Today is my Monday. Or rather Monday nite.

    I was out of bread.

Or else I could have made an egg mayo sandwich -- yes.

    But no.

Just make sure to reassure him when he gets upset over something that is a normal occurrence.

Yes, poor doggies and kitties get a lot of grief from humans that they absolutely do NOT deserve.

It's ok to abuse children because when they grow up they can come back and beat the crap out of you. Like I did.

But poor kitties and doggies have no such recourse. Unless of course the dog kills and eats you, like a put bull would.

Yup, my kitty understands "no no no" also. But then he goes under the bed and pouts. He knows I love him and that this is the worst way he can torture me.

It really pizzes me off when humans complain about dogs and cats chewing and scratching.

    That's their job.

I can only imagine that your millennial generation calls this what we used to call the Hershey Bar Road.

I bought some of that stuff in a spray bottle that was supposed to stop chewing. It didn't work for me the puppies were not put off a bit. What worked for me was a "Did you do that?"in a firm voice. Eventually, they stopped well one did. The other one only chews when she gets separation anxiety.

My kitty grabs his toys and throws them up in the air and then catches them as they fall back to the ground.

    Very talented.

    Dogs cannot do that.

A dutch oven is when you're laying in bed with your woman (or man?), and you fart under the covers, and pull the covers over her (his?) head and force them to endure the torture.

Since dogs come from wolves originally I would not be mean to a dog ever. They might kill and eat you if they wanted to. Pit bulls do this every day somewhere on Earth.

And cats will not tolerate that sort of abuse. They will leave and find another human.
