    He is great, isn't he? I have one of his CD's. I have been a fan of his for years. The little girl is great too.

    Are you going to make your own egg roll wraps or buy ready-made wraps? If you make your own wraps tell us how you did it.

    I tend to like crawfish in anything - maybe not in chocolate cake.

    Now that you mentioned it cloudy ice cubes do seem to melt slower and cloudy days seem to last longer.

    I got cussed out by an Indian yesterday.

    I get a robo call from my home area code and prefix (red flag 1) that my social security number is being used illegally (red flag 2) in the state of Texas (red flag 3), press 1 to speak to an agent. Lol, I pressed one and a guy with a thick Indian accent asks who He has the pleasure of speaking to? To which I ask, oh, since when does the SS administration outsource to India? Excuse me? He asks. I reply that I can tell by his accent he doesn’t work for SS. He is getting mad now. He says he will give me his badge number then we can talk before he issues a warrant for my arrest and assured me that he is an American citizen and in the Silicon Valley, to which I respond “not according to my caller ID you aren’t. Then I ask for his supervisor, he refuses and again threatens me with an arrest warrant. To which I said go ahead. I said even if SS had my phone number, they wouldn’t have this phone number as it is my employer issued phone. To which he said, you are going to die of covid MF’er, to which I replied, “maybe so, but that will happen before you rip me off MF’er!
    He hung up on me.

    Damn scam artists!

    Applications for PPP loans submitted. Here's hoping that we can get them soon enough to retain as many employees as we can. It is an awful task to have to tell someone we don't know when or if we can bring them back.

    I can't even joke about needing a drink to make it through the day... the closed The Happy Hour down the street two weeks ago.

    *sigh*

    I hate scam artists also. And SS does not call people... I don't think. I keep getting calls about that vehicle warranty is about to expire. I don't have a vehicle warranty.

    I remember explaining this sometime within the last year.
    I was going into the big city to shop at Krogers.I use their
    back lot since it's easier to find a parking space and easier
    to wheel out a shopping cart.There was an Ice Truck with an
    Ice man carting off on his dolly bags of ice.I figured it was my
    opportunity to find out if an Ice Man knew his ice.
    he didn't.In fact,he was really stupid about ice and also
    persistent in his stupidness.I had read a story a few weeks earlier
    about how to make cloud-free ice.It had little to do with how clean
    the water was.it had everything to do with the amount of Oxygen or
    air in the water.The less oxygen and the less cloudy.
    Makes no difference what Bottled water.When really pure bottled water
    gets froze and is free of minerals and impurities it pushes the cloudy
    part { tiny trapped air bubbles } which freezes first to the center.

    Yup ... It's a universal annoyance that makes no difference a vehicle
    or a motorcycle.Or even a car that 10 years old.I bet I got around
    10 such letters the past year for my truck and my Motorcycle and also my
    2005 car.All purchased new.

    U.S. Coronavirus Hospitalizations Lower than Predicted: NY Marks 75% Drop

    The number of people hospitalized across the United States as a result of the novel coronavirus illness (COVID-19) is reportedly only a fraction of what some health experts projected a few days ago.

    On Monday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo told reporters that in his state alone, the epicenter of the viraloutbreak in the United States, new coronavirus hospitalizations dropped by about 75 percent, from 1,427 four days ago to 358 on Sunday.

    Highlighting the drop in new hospitalizations in NY, the statehardest hit (131,239 cases; 4,758 deaths as of Monday) by the coronavirus, Alex Berenson, former New York Times reporter who hasbeen following the U.S. outbreakclosely, observed on Twitter on Monday: “It’s over, guys. It’s already over.”

    That is the best news Ive heard in days!
    Hopefully it peaked early and will drop quickly. If that holds true I hope for all the other hot zone areas, the same holds true.

    I dunno.Seems like every other day the scenario changes.
    That is why HOPE is of such Great Expectation.
    Hope is very misunderstood among us Philosophers.

    " Hope is as great an enemy of courage as is Fear "
    -- Walter Kaufmann { American Philosopher 1921-1980 }

    " And yet,Hope pursues me,encircles me,bites me;
    like a dying wolf tightening his grip for the last time."
    -- Frederico Garcia Lorca { Spanish Poet }

    " Hope is a fawning traitor of the mind,while under the
    color of friendship,it robs it of it's chief force of resolution. "
    -- Sir Philip Sidney { English writer }

    " It is Hope that maintains most of mankind. "
    -- Sophocles { Greek Classic Poet }.

    " Hope is not to be trusted.Hope is man's curse ".
    -- Euripides { Greek Tragic Dramatist }

    I hope for the best but calmly prepare for the worst. That's how I naturally approach things. While everyone else is running around all crazy, I get freaky calm and methodical.

    Yeah, me too. Calm and calculated... fall apart later.

    The soup I made yesterday is gross. Not all new recipes are worthy of a second try. :puke:

    There are so many dead bodies they are putting bodies in refrigerated trailers.
