My raccoons eat the catfood off the back deck if there is any left. Possums do as well. I sometimes accidently put some out before I go to bed if the weather has been particularly cold or nasty. We had a couple little coons we fostered when I was a kid after their mother got killed until they were big enough to survive on their own.

Tell me about it all my weeks are busy. Going here and going there, we live in the country and everything is miles away.

Yeah, but living in the country is wonderful. I am so lucky, I live in a small village in the country, but only 8 miles from Cambridge (The UK university town)
I'm normally very busy as I'm rolling my business out across the UK , but at the moment with Covid we are all shut down.
However we (My design team and I) have launched an online product which is going well, this week I have been meeting promotional companies and influencers (Yawn ) so not much spare time.
    More time next week :D

Of course it is by accident. Otherwise I would be illegally feeding wild animals which is a no no in my city. ;)

Bird & Squirrel feeders are the only things legal and only because when they passed the first ordinance banning all feeding, little old ladies stormed the city council meetings in a manner that made the MAGA coup pale in comparison with their wagging fingers and pointed canes :dual:

If a Great Horned Owl eats your Siamese cat, does the city fine you? Just kidding. Your post made me think of this video.

I do find it interesting to watch the coons eat since they pick the food up with their paws and put it into their mouths. I have seen them finish by washing their hands off in the water bowl.

They are fun to watch. I feed a lot of ground hay to my beef cattle in the winter and hire a custom grinder every couple weeks. The lady that operates the mobile grinder keeps 2-3 of her favorite raccoons in the house. She tells me stories from time to time. She says it’s like living with two year old toddlers who have the motor abilities and capabilities for destruction of an adult.

Snowing. Tomorrow will be my D-Day day on Secret Weapons Over Normandy so at least I have an excuse to do nothing productive. I found a bunch of old PC games in a box and it is one that still works. It is a lot tougher than I planned for. Has taken me a week to get to the 15th and final mission.

Saw a rabbit back.. yesterday I saw 5 cats meeting.. I think they have something to do with the rabbits scarcity of late.. kinda hope the bobcats do their job.. they are the most effective animal control vector around.
