20210228_175312.jpg This is my guppy breeder. I put 2 Cory cats along with my guppies. The female with the orange tail has dropped. The fancy tail female is due any time. If you expand the picture you may see little ones. 20210228_175324.jpg

Unfortunately revenue isn’t net income. LOL. Everything it takes to make beef has gotten more expensive, too. I’m frustrated good cuts of beef are getting so expensive for the consumer.

My Grandfater who was an avid Hunter/Fisherman and Scout
    had a hobbie.He raised guppies.As I recall he had 3 maybe 4 tanks.
He had a special room in the basement.Where his hunting dogs
stayed. It was kinda doggy. My Mom would not go in that room.
He built a small all-cedar outhouse adjacent to the doggy hobbie
room.In Grandma and Grandpa's attic it was a virtual animal
trophy { stuffed } room.Even had a couple stuffed foxes.
Only think missing was a small brown bear.He was tracking a
bobcat as I recall one Christmas.Broke his thumb.I think he might
have fallen with his rifle. His 2 hunting dogs were well-fed Irish Setters.
    Major and Colonel.

I like guppies but my first love is angelfish. I have a tank being set up for breeding them. I have a shed set up for my fish hobby.

Grandpa { wasn't really my Grandfather } was the father of my Mom's
first husband who died in WWII as a Pilot.
Grandpa was quite serious about this guppy bidness. It seemed
at odds with his character.Because Gramps was a true outdoorsman.
Bought an extra lot behind their humble home and converted the
backyard into a sanctuary.Built a little picnic spot where he also
had an outdoor Fireplace or more like furnace. It was very big.
    Had a huge chute { looked like it was copper on the outside }
and reinforced.Plus numerous bird homes and feeders.
But there was one spot that always stayed wet.I believe there was a large
tree in the middle { Weeping Willow }.
    But Grandpa was an eccentric.An Introvert.He drove a Willy's
truck but always went too slow.Would do no faster than around
40-45 even on the Turnpike for his longer jaunts.Got Ticketed for
going too slow on the turnpike.Whereas my old man had no problem
    what ever doing 90 m.p.h.
    Such is Life.

It is 2.55 here. We went into the next state up and their's was 2.32 or it was last week. They are pretty much .20 cents a gallon less than our state.

Most everyone here has a generator. When a hurricane comes a generator is handy to have storms can put the power down for weeks. Seeing a power truck come down your road is a celebratory event after the power has been out for a week or more.

Churchill was great. I loved the story about what he said to Lady Astor, he had a very quick wit.

I take you meant " Great MAN ".He saved Britain from being
taken over by the Nazis. He was also a bit eccentric.Used to love
playing as if a little boy in the Bathtub.Making noises with his bath toys.
Plus he was a tippler.Pretty much drank throughout the day,But small
bits. Not like Hollywood Golden age types who drink half a glass of
whisky right down { in seconds }.Plus Churchill had quirky habits like
preferring Champagne with his Red Meat.Using a nail to cut a hole
in his cigar. However he lived a long life despite smoking cigars and
drinking. As an Old Codger once told me { He was the Night watchman for
my Grandmother's Home Trucking Terminal }.He smoked non-filter Pall Mall.
If the first 50 years or smoking don't get me,I'm not concerned about the
    2nd fifty.
    Not to be confused with Cotton Club's { Cleveland soft drink distributor }
with their delicious 50/50 Soft Drink. It was a lemon/Lime mixer
that had real bits of lemon and lime.Real Humdinger stuff to have around.
I see where 50/50 was described as a Grapefruit/Lime soda.
Could be.It was cloudy at the bottom.

Field ? What Field.I see a mess of sagebrush and a few dusty old boulders.
I mean,a Prairie dog would be smart to start packing a suitcase and flee.

"Depth of field," is a photography term.

It's not the same as field of corn. :)
