I have a Little Owl that roosts about 20' from my back door screeching every night and a chorus of Tawnies never far away, we also have Barn Owls on the farm. It's rare that I see any off them. I did see one of our crows chasing off a buzzard yesterday though and the farmer has witnessed a fox and a buzzard working together to flush rodents out of the hedgerow.
A Muntjak deer is skirting around the edge of the meadow as I speak and a pair of pheasants are strutting around the middle of the field.
In the summer I get to watch the crows and the magpies take it in turn to stand on the sheep's heads picking insects off their faces.
My window is often far more entertaining than the TV.

Nope, rural East Anglia. Land of the Iceni.
That's the rounded lump in Eastern England on the opposite side of the Island from Wales.

    I seem to recall a couple late 50's/Early 60's Motorcycle/Scooter flicks
from England where towns like Bristol and Nottingham were featured.
I'll have to check. The only actor I recall was actress Rita Tushingham.
A star at the time.I found one of the movies ... - The Leather Boys -.

15 days and counting down until the little sugar-suckers start showing up.

It has gotten down right expensive feeding the wildlife around here....

Ah, if it's film locations you need, look no further than Witchfinder General (released as The Conqueror Worm in the US).
Shot in several locations around Suffolk near this farm.
Starring Vincent Price in the lead roll.
If you haven't seen that one then there's always Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket which includes the famous scene where the helicopter flies over paddy fields firing a machine gun at random Vietnamese civilians. That was shot over the salt marshes in neighbouring Norfolk.
