I've got 2 masks, Foolie. Of course I've also got no place to go. The more I see from Seattle, the happier I am to be in Texas. ;)

Seattle is actually a nice, fun place to visit, pre-COVID.

Speaking of which, I need to check on a cousin who lives there. She is one of the best people I know, and the most likely to be in the middle of groups promoting peaceful change.

Agree about Seattle. Beautiful city before all hell broke loose. I have a friend who lives near there too... she's avoiding the city at all costs. A 16 yo was shot and killed last nite. Time to put a stop to that foolishness. Good thing I'm not a cop.

In my current mindset, I really need to avoid jaunting out into the open forums and actually expecting intelligent life forms.

As my cure of yesteryear, a Kamikaze shot please. *Slams the shot glass twice on the bar, and swallows it down*.

After the third one, I won't be an intelligent life form either. Then I'll be ready for 'out there'.

Seattle Actually WAS a Nice place. In fact,so was the entire state of
    California.Especially San Fransico.
Now ... The greatest city on Earth ... N.Y.city is in huge trouble.
I don't believe for a split second that Masks are the answer.
All sounds rather Tribal to me.
I am betting that a majority of Americans want their old Country back.
The Freest and most tolerant country ever assembled.
I don't think other peoples are shying away from the United States.
The first way a country is shaken apart is when Free Speech is
manipulated and Freedom to travel is questioned.

The far left and the middle coreopsis (coreopses?) are in. One, or two, will be over on the far right.

What I noticed, is that the bright yellow attracts my attention and invites me to scan the entire area.

    The butterflies will adore you.

Have you thought about a low bird bath by one of the shrubs? Very entertaining to watch.

I have thought about a bird bath. I'm going to have a minimalist fence on the left. Deer would be able to stick their heads in and get a drink, too.

We had our own private dust storm going on today. The field next to the house is being planted and a wind storm stirred up the soil and blew all over. We got more dust from it than we did from Godzilla.

I don't know from Feng Shui, but I'm sure that I've been influenced by Asian thought.

Back in the day, I studied Theravada and Zen Buddhism. Just try sitting on the floor, staring at a blank wall, without moving, for an hour, without thinking a thought.

As a kid I spent some of my summers back in Cleveland, before
we had our Summer Home on Lake Erie.
I used to spend days walking around with my neighbor buddy who
ended up hating his first name { Orin }.We liked to go places like fields
and woods and yes, catch butterflies.Orion had a butterfly net and
was a natural at knowing how to catch butterflies. He had a nice collection
he kept for years.Mostly Swallowtails and Monarchs.Plus Moths.
His mom was helpful in his butterfly pursuits and mounting his collection.
    My Mom could care less.
I remember once Orin and I were out catching frogs and I got a nice
small frog with a bow and arrow. But I really didn't want to shoot it.
It survived but needed stiching up.Orin's mom saw the frog and got her
sewing kit out and diligently stitched up the torn frog.
I kept thinkin' ... My mom would never do that.If someone told her to
stich up that frog or ... You lose yer most expansive Mink coat ...
She still wouldn't.So that and a whole lot more led to me being estranged
from my wealthy mother.I never saw her the last 12 years of her life.
She did live to the ripe old age of 94.
