Riding horses, swimming in ponds, catching wild animals and tending livestock, exploring the depths
of the ranch and surrounding territory.. AND I had to hang out, mostly , with my brothers and sisters.. good thing there are a lot of them!

Here's My thought about " Trying " stuff { Things }.We've all been out
with Friends/Relatives at a new restaurant or really different kind of
restaurant. And when asked about what to order may have been
advised as to ... You must try that.Or try this.Or the Waiter suggests something
like ... The Eel tonight is especially good.Been marinating since noon and
is our best seller some nights.
Think Grandpa and Grandma. What are the chances they will take the
plunge and try the Marinated eel.Probably a better chance they Dream about
Retiring in a Nudist Colony.Or Grandma has been taking lessons as to how to
field dress one of Grandpa's WWII Pistols { especially his Luger }.

I was no different. Was the best football player in my neighborhood.
However my Parents refused to let me play on my Parochial
Grade school football team.I did play 3 years on my Parochial School
Lightweight Basketball team { 5th,6th,7th }. My 8th grade year I had me
    a paper route instead.
Most kids if given the chance to run wild in the woods, will do so.
In fact,I'd never trust a Youngin' who was woods shy.
At least until they are much older and take up golf.

Good timing! (pats self on back) I ran out of plants to plant at the same time that I ran out of energy to plant plants.

You had a great childhood. Most children living in the country have great childhoods. Doesn't take much to entertain a country raised child.

Stupidity or downright ignorance is the latest pandemic. The covid curve will be easier to flatten.

Not this morning, but a doc appt at 3. One of the few who's not doing Tele appts. They'll have a nurse out in the hall taking temps before they let you in. Crazy times we've got here. :omg:

    That is nice!

I have plenty of room to plant more plants. I just don't have any more plants to plant.

Not to appear the Nosy Parker ... But why the Doc appt.?
I doubt whether to make sure your Smartie Mask has been
    sanctioned.Or Good Housekeeping approved.
    Yer among like-minded friends.
Why the need to have a doc appt.?
I mean,I doubt the same reason that Edie Sedgwick and her
Factory buddies went to see Dr.Feelgood.For a nice kicker
shot in the butt { laced with B-12 and premium amphetamine }.
Man oh Boy what I'd pay for one them.Maybe not dough.

Ain't no hurry and plants need room to grow. I have been using wild harvested bog plants lately. But I do have some pretty flowers out there. A lot of them unusual.

Thx for your concern, nosy Parker. ;)

I have an overactive immune system which went into overdrive after my appendix ruptured this time last yr. Docs these days are just for checkups to make sure I'm staying healthy. So far, so good. Don't have to see today's doc again for 6 months. Got another appt next Friday with PC doc. Hope it's another 6 months for him too!

When's the last time you had a checkup?

Now why is that NOT a surprise?

Srsly, I'm happy that you're blessed with good health. I've had this chronic immune disorder since the early 90's so there have been lots of doctors thru the years. Research guinea pig, too and my DNA is in the national database for research.

I usually feel my doctors are angels on earth. Your whole perspective changes with physical pain. Trust me on that. ;)
