    Smartie sent me this picture of Flounder. I had to laugh because I remember when Flounder sent me this picture. I knew he was waiting for me to tell him what a nice looking dog he had and he looked good in the picture. I said to him, What the hell did that poor little dog do to you that you were choking him? He got all, Im not choking the dog and I got all, OK but it sure looks like it to me.
    I laughed so hard and laughed again when I saw the picture.

    My little wildflower patch that I have been tending has expanded to three spots of pretty pink primrose, maybe in a few more years it will cover the field. No bluebonnets they don't like it here.

    Had a cold and decided to hitchhike from Norman Ok to St Louis ... and it was snowing, too.. grabbed a bottle of that to aid the passage...

    my head cleared up and the cold was gone! 'bout round somewhere on the Interstate past Joplin.. LOL

    Bar we visited on my 40th bday bar hopping night gave a qt of MD 20/20 to all birthday celebrators. Remembering passing it around in the car, drinking outta the bottle & very little else about the rest of the evening. Lol

    I niver understood why he used { Flounder } as an Id.
    I mean,one look at - Animal House - { 1978 } and it would be
    self-explanatory.Like the way John Belushi went thru the lunch line.
    Putting more food on his Tray than it could hold.Plus actually inhaling a
    a whole Jello dessert square.
    Flounder of - Animal Farm - was the opposite of what most Italians
    dream about.Like Sexy women,cars and Jewelry.
    Not too much Vatican City any mores.Now if Flounder used
    Florence { the city } instead I could understand.That place is
    dreamy.

    I did some work on the egg.

    I didn't dunk the egg in the dye. I painted it on. They do paint dye on so thats the way I wanted to go. The rest that is white now will be black. So once I remove the wax it will be white, blue, scarlet and black.
    I'm going to keep practicing and hopefully over time get better at this pysanky art. Im storing the dye and they say it can last up to a year, which is pretty cool.

    Too thick.I on occasion would get it in college but it tended to give a
    headache.It's fortified and around 20 % alc. which is 4o proof.Half the proof
    of most Whisky.I think actually most MD 20/20 came in like big Pint bottles.
    Around 18 - 20 ounces.
    Most Bottle Liquor { Whisky,Vodka,Rum etc. } comes in Fifths { 1/5ths }
    Back in my grandfathers day { 40's,50's } Liguor came in Quarts.
    Just like in my college days they never had 22's of beer.
    Just 12 0z. or Quarts.Sometimes pints.
    Iron city used to sell a gallon of beer which included
    8 pints in a cardboard container.
    Iron city was the cheap stuff.

    He use the name Flounder because it was a neutral type disarming name and the guy loved to fish. I asked him why he chose that user name and thats what he said.

    BTW I'm a little disappointed in that uber hyped Scorsese Movie :
    - The Irishman - { 2019 }. It had good performances but was too
    similar to other Scorsese Movies { Like - Casino - and - Goodfellas - }
    In fact it was like a remake or a Alumni Movie for Gangster wanabees.
    Plus,it was the fist time Al Pacino was shot { filmed } showing how really
    short he is.Probably because Jimmy Hoffa { the character he played } was
    also short.De Niro was his usual very good as was Joe Pesci.
    Pesci is an avid golf fan.I can't see De Niro hitting a golf ball.
    Would remind me of Matt Dillon in - There's Something About Mary -.

    Don't say like { Smartmouthwoman } Because no such name
    exists in the vernacular.Nor most Id's.
    Except'n ... Scummy ... of course.

    Flounders by nature are a non threatening type fish. They lay low and back on the ocean floor and have both eyes always looking upward lol.
    Barracuda on the other hand are a threatening type fish who given the opportunity would tear a body limb off.

    A neutral type disarming name versus a body limb eating threatening type name.

    Yeah. I caught plenty of flounder over the years when we use to fish off the breakers. Flounders are born and with their eyes on either side of their body and at a certain stage in their lives their eyes migrate to one side of their body. Probably for self preservation. Swim high and get eaten. Lie flat in the sand and blend in with the color and live to see another day.
