Apparently demand has soared along with transport costs. Ships can't get crews, Haulage companies can't get drivers. It not just wood, its plaster, cement, panel boards, plumbing...pretty much everything.

I know what you are saying and it is something to think about. And heart pine burns really hot and fast. But I will go over the inside with a power sprayer using pine sol and borax. Maybe a fire retardant.

Several of those are perennial, so they can be sowed in the fall if you are inclined. I'll have to look up October daisy.

Did you know that pests like Poison Ivy or Poison Oak should
never be burned.Like Leaves and small branches in the fall.
Because Ivy and Oak are extremely noxious.

The October Daisy will come back year after year. I guess you could call it a perennial. https://floridata.com/plant/981

My grocery bill has certainly sky rocketed during this time. When they say inflation is 2.4% I find that hard to believe.

I think at one time or another everyone has had a day old bread time. When my husband was going to college we couldn't afford day old bread..:(. McDonalds was our big splurge on payday.:) All of the skimping paid off no college debt after graduation.

I can't remember if it was called Day Old Bread or not.
Today Bread is delievered each weekday at Grocers and Wal*Mart.
    But it has freshness stickers.Tags.
My Old Man loved fresh baked Rye Bread. He knew when the local
Bread store { I remember the name Davis Bakery } used to set out their
just out of the oven bread.
I remember a few years ago { around 10 years ago } when there was
a movement to offer custom homemade bread. It was expensive.Like almost
5 times more expensive.Plus it was Heavy.Because it was loaded with fresh
ingredients { herbs } not used in most bread. It was crap.It was wet and
would not dry out even if placed in the oven or a microwave.I tried 3 different times
to pick a loaf that seemed the most dry.it was futile.I think it was considered
some newwave style multigrained ambic bread.
    I like Focaccia.I like Pumpernickel.Even Challah.
But mostly Rye bread.I won't touch cornbread because it's loaded
    with sodium.

Happy whatever the hell day it is.

My new shower wasn't draining right (too slow). Paid a plumber $125 to snake drain... didn't help. Ended up calling in Roto Rooter. $655 later, drain works fine.

    Cha ching!!

As opposed { differentiated } from an abundantly anal annual.?
I dint knowed dat. That a plant could come down with a case
of being anal retentive.Do Plants realize that as they grow older.
Maybe Miss Smartie oughta inform certain plants.Create a Plant
Information site. Why should Plants be denied their rightful place.

Just a part of your normal monthly maintenance.

Did you opt for shower curtains or doors?

Shower doors are great till you get them and then you realize the shower curtain wasn't so bad after all.

Actually you wish you were young enough to do the things you wanted to do when you couldn't do them. Or something like that. Age at times seems to work in reverse.

Did the plumber recommend Roto Rooter?

Just think you have a nice running drain and a brand new bathroom the best outcome. Not cheap and worth every penny. ;)
