    I never would have thought you cross dress. Now how does that relate to corn fed beef?

    Well here's some are. It's a 1.3 mile walk from the parking area to the pass between the islands I bought my recumbent bicycle and thought I was going to ride my fat ass out here.... As if, you ain't riding no bike through this sugar Sand. But I did walk all the way and swim in the pass, I saw a gopher tortoise and a box turtle, have not seen a box turtle in about a decade speaking of decades both of these turtles are probably 30 or 50 years old... They say red tide is present the water looks okay to me I've only saw one dead fish walking the beach, but red tide is like that it can be terrible one day and virtually gone the next. I don't smell anything bad and I don't have any respiratory issues IMG_20210810_090851.jpg IMG_20210810_090014.jpg

    Don't let it ruin your day.
    Besides, us chefs need to earn a crust too.
    You should hear what we say about gas station prices.

    Getting kicked out of high school, especially a military school may be a badge of honor, and dropping out of HS or college is often just good sense. Indoctrination handicaps the mind. I wonder if anyone has compared the IQ's of the drop outs to the graduates.

    DIY grits are the way to go. You might even invest the savings in OLN - bullets and dividends.
    Better than Denny's eggs and grits most days. ;-)

    Hey man 20 bucks is pretty steep for breakfast. Damn country fried steak that was about $13 right there and $3 for the grits and the rest for the tip. Seems it wasn't very long ago you could eat lunch or breakfast at Denny's for good 10 bucks fill you up and that included the tip

    I still haven't really got my head around grits.
    We don't have anything like it on Her Majesty's Isles.

    So it's a kind of cornmeal porridge that you serve savoury with eggs and bacon?
    Like a corn risotto?

    Yes, it is basically a cornmeal porridge. Best with salt and butter.

    Conservative talk radio personality Dennis Prager has given this
    much thought.And anyone who knows or has listened to Prager
    fully understands his passion on this subject.That being higher education.
    It's no longer even a crap shoot.It's a lie propagated and maintained by
    University Professors since the Radical 60's. An as a boy growing up
    in Brooklyn he knows from what ... firsthand.Attending Yeshiva as a youth
    for moral backbone and integrity as to words and deeds. One can learn a lot
    form studying the Torah.But that was merely his journey.As a young man he
    made a point of attending Columbia U. to further understand higher education.
    After graduating Brooklyn College { majoring in History and Eastern Studies }.
    Learning firsthand at Columbia what mattered most.What the Professors
    taught,preached and indoctrinated.Basically Socialism of the Karl Marx
    variant.Our Universities have been hijacked by Leftists.
    Not in the last year or two.But last couple decades.David Horowitz has
    written and explained this coercive bent for some time.He grew up in N.Y.City,
    A Jew whose parents were Commies.He was one of the 60's radicals but
    saw the light.
    Prager insists that many { if not a majority } of those graduating university today
    are not really very smart.They are committed to a leftist bent in thought and
    action.As if the recent unravelling of Saul Alinsky { Rules for Radicals }
    Virtue signaling,Groupthink { ala Climate Change } and Gaslighting technique
    is not openly employed.It had to be thought of from somewhere.
    Now it's in our Public Education Schools { even grade school }.

    Here is where I hiked my fat ass today, the tip of the barrier island where it says Stump pass beach state park. For you non coastal dwellers, a "pass" is where open waters (in this case, the gulfe de mehico) cut between land masses, going inland. Screenshot 2021-08-10 7.18.42 PM.png

    To give any notion of Politics a needed breather I just received in the
    mail the latest Hammacher Schlemmer { America's Longest Running Catalog }
    a once over.I get the New York monthly catalog almost every week.They have an
    amazing array to items of every consideration { some rather wacky }.
    But HS requires Shipping cost and high New York state tax.
    On the cover Today was their - Italian Electric Tomato Press -.
    It looks expensive.HS seldom has budget items for purchase.
    Is anyone interested in the price of that Tomato Press.
    The one good thing about making a purchase from Hammacher Schlemmer
    is their service.They have 24 hr. phone lines available.Those who handle
    the ordering are very professional. I first heard of Hammacher Schlemmer
    when I watched the intense 60's thriller ... - Wait until Dark - { 1964 }
    Starring Audrey Hepburn as the Blind lady and Alan Arkin as a committed
    diabolical heroin dealer from Scarsdale.
    Terrific Thriller { at times nail-biting } also starring Richard Crenna.
    Arkin was putting on plastic gloves to conceal in the Blind Lady's
    apartment his fingerprints.mentioned Hammacher Schlemmer.
    Can purchase in bulk from them.The very first purchase I made
    form HS I mentioned to the order taker that movie from the 60's.
    The first time I ever heard the word{s} Hammacher Schlemmer.
    The Price of this Italian Electric Tomato Press is ?
