Awoke with a dreadful headache today, had a couple dbl. espressos... and well within an hour the headache had completely vanished. (yea!)

Interestingly, (admittedly without researching it), the opposite happens when I eat chocolate. Chocolate brings on a headache for me, thus I don't eat it. Anyway, isn't it the caffeine in each that is the common denominator? Again, I have not read up on it, but thought one of you guys might be able to answer.

If so, how can espresso stop my headaches (almost always), and eating chocolate induce them? Really odd.

Oh well, at least it's gone for now.

And yes, for those of you that are wondering (Daisy), I am still stunningly good lookin' ...even with a headache.

 

Maybe you are mildly allergic to lactose? I didn't realize I was for some time.

No, still haven't gotten a new one. Actually was just speaking with my friend about an Ipad. She is strongly suggesting one, but I'm not so sure. I like the portability/compact size, but when/if I'm away, I have a laptop already (although it's away, right now lol). I'm still leaning toward a desktop.

I've been quiet busy with a couple other things, but what research/reading I've done, seems only to further confuse the decision. lol Just when I think I may have found something that suits the need, I read negative reviews. *sigh*

Oh well, in the end I'm confident I will find one I like.

Yep. I found that I developed this allergy later in life. You have a good Sunday too.

It is almost scandalous to think you are allergic to chocolate.. I would deny to the bitter end if I was allergic to chocolate. Oh, NO, not Chocolate.never..

I snuck out of bed just long enough to post this. This is no way to start the winter off. They are predicting 4 to 8 inches of snow for us tomorrow. Boy I sure do wish that they are wrong about that. All I can say is oh my aching back because that will mean at least 45 minutes to an hour of shoveling. As if I don't already have enough trouble with my back as it is. Well there goes the last of my bed rest program. I hope that your forecast is better than mine.

Hey seriously, I've noticed the past few days that sometimes there is a delay before I can see a foto. After leaving the page, checking back later, it shows up. Just a minor glitch I'm sure. No biggie.
