I've been in Texas, but didn't get into the heart of Texas, don't remember much about it .... except tumble weeds! lol.....

Several yrs ago I watched a program about San Antonio and I was very impressed - what a beautiful city! If I take a trip south, I'm going to San Antonio, for sure!

Yes you definatley are in some of the worlds most beautiful country. Between us I think that we take all honors.

 

WEith that out of the way, it is now time to eat. So How about some belgian waffles this morning.

I took the test yesterday. It took almost an hour. They did an ultra sound on my heart and I am waiting for the results. My heart is still beating about 130 times a minute. Which is about 50 times to fast. Sure do hope that it starts to slow down a little. I found out that my blood pressure is now normal and that my diabetes is approaching that of a normal person. This morming my b/p was 119/71 and my blood sugar is 99. They did an A1c test on me and my three month average is 6.6 that is exactly where a diabetic should be if it is controlled. Well enough about me. Now on to better things like breakfast. Have a great day all.

Morning Mary! Did you get snowed on?

 

Mostly rained on. Too warm to really snow much. Roads are clear. Supposed to get colder tonight, so might get slippery. Then we're supposed to be up to 50° by Saturday. We'll see.

What's on your agenda for the weekend? I've got a 5K race but other than that, I'm vegging.

 

The only thing I know of so far is going to get sweet patootie for the day. My other sweet patootie left this morning and might be gone all weekend, but he won't know until he gets to the jobsite and checks things out. Other than my day with Elijah Saturday, no big plans. I'm trying to pace myself with the yard work. A little at a time instead of crippling myself trying to do it all in one day or weekend.

 

I've spent some time in San Antone....

Randolph and Lackland AFBs are around there...

The Auger Inn, Camino Ranch and Alamo Cafe are pretty good eats as I recall.

 

It's a pretty cool place to visit. Not sure I'd want to live there, but it's definitely a Texas treasure.
