Snakes are very long animals. They zig-zag, swim, climb, and all, but why don't they ever tie a knot onto themselves by accident sometimes? If you were that long, wouldn't you end up in a knot sometimes?
Interesting question. Made me google I think they have too many muscles under their control to get into any real trouble. But evidently if they get a problem with their brain...it can happen. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencet...-disease-makes-captive-pythons-tie-knots.html
There is a very old Australian insult in relation to the infamous male "snake" and "tying a knot in it" but let us knot go there....... The reason why they do not "tie a knot in themselves is that their skeleton would not allow it - at least a tight knot
possum `fraid o' snakes... Snakes Hunt in Groups, Study Suggests May 24, 2017 - One snake can be scary enough, but a new study suggests some of the slithering reptiles hunt for prey in groups.
After a few massive Hurricanes in Florida a large number of baby Pythons and other exotic snakes broke out of their storage facilities that were destroyed by the Hurricanes and now the Everglades and South Florida are TEAMING with massively large Boa's and Pythons that are in a place that allows them to grow to enormous sizes with a lot of prey. In this link.....http://www.trivials.com/alligator-vs-python/ If you scroll down a few pics you can see pics of pythons that swallowed large alligators and they tried to swallow too much I guess as the legs of the Gator burst through the python.
