Trump claiming responsibility for things he likes, and then blaming the CDC, the WHO, the governors, the democrats, Pelosi, Obama, .... and anybody but himself, for everything else, is what you would expect a 10 year old to do. Not the President of the United States.

 

I haven't been to the beach myself. But I constantly see on the news reports, and people who have been there confirm the same. You see people screaming at each other. Some because another is wearing a mask, other because they're not. Everybody seems worried. Nobody looks happy. I think deep inside everybody knows that believing Trump is a recipe for disaster. But you won't admit it, will you?

 

You are at the WRONG beach, sir. Or are hanging around with the WRONG crowd. Maybe a little fishing in your very own boat, and getting more sunlight will help you to free yourself from the coercive psychology meant to create a virtual prison for your mind

 

Watch the news. Everywhere in the country it's the same. People screaming at each other. Even people shooting at each other in Florida because somebody was or wasn't (I don't know which, but they are both equally wrong) wearing a mask. What kind of a beach day is that?

I honestly attribute this to lack of leadership. Lack of leadership from the governor (DeSantis very rarely comes out to explain anything) and from the President (who only comes out to confuse things more than they already are). People are just not sure what they should do. I, myself, try to stay as informed as possible. I have no idea if Florida should or should not be opening. There is very little (to none) information here as to what guidelines the state is following, if any.

BTW, I'm all for fishing in your own boat away from everybody else. I don't fish much myself, but I think that would be a wholesome way to pass the weekend without infecting anybody around you.

 

Nobody is "playing around with it", whatever drama effect that is supposed to have.

Not sure of your age, but politicians in the US have been doing whatever the hell they want as long as I can remember.

How do you propose to stop such behavior? They were caught doing such things in Watergate, Vietnam, Iran-Contra and so many more things, and scapegoats suffer with a minor prison term, even as the main figures like Bush 41 get elected to POTUS.

Have you any ideas to clean up Washington? Any credible ideas? JFK, RFK and MLK tried to clean it up, and look what happened.

 

It takes a man to admit he screwed up with the corona virus response and to take responsibility for this cluster f*ck he created, not a man child?!!

 

Yeah.... we keep trying. At a minimum give them a few sleepless nights. Have them, at least, try to cover it up. This time Trump has gone waaaay too far. He doesn't even bother to cover up his crimes anymored.

But let me see if I understand. I ask again: is your "solution" to just allow them to do whatever the hell they want without even complaining? I just want to make sure I'm understanding what you're proposing. If it's not that, then I would still want to know what your purpose was in bringing this up. If it is then.... there is nothing I can do but disagree. I will not be the one to consider this some sort of "new normal". Because this is escalating. And the next step would be a full-fledged dictatorship. Shame on those who would do nothing (not even complain) to help stop it.
