I don't know what country you're talking about. Restrictions in our country started in mid March. If they had started one week early 36 thousand lives would have been saved. If they had started two weeks earlier, 54 thousand lives would have been saved. And that's even without Trump having prepared.

The source of the virus is likely a mutation that occurred in a wet market in China, probably in a bat or armadillo or... something. We don't know for sure yet.

I don't know if the WHO said it wasn't necessary. But, if they did, they were right. Not only because Airlines had already cancelled flights to China, but because the virus was already here... And it didn't come from China anyway.

In my experience, when there is a problem, someone somewhere predicted that problem would take place. Also, in my experience, you get a lot of predictions of problems that never take place. When you are listening to a number of "experts" who are giving out differing opinion, you have to pick one or ignore all of them. Unless you get nearly universal advice from the experts, that advice is nearly worthless because you don't know who to believe. Early, there was confusion everywhere about how it transmitted and how quickly it could be transmitted.

 

What are you talking about? It didn't come from China? Just up above, you said it came from a wet market in China. Also, there is a lot of belief that a virus in their laboratory might have gotten over to the wet market. Anyway you look at it, that is China.

 

I gotta say one thing.
