I doubt that sincerely. Sorry. And that doesn't even consider that there are no opposing positions among the panel members. It is political theater and not as good as most of the political theater I see from congress.
It's not a court... that is the point... courts have representation from opposite sides, not just one side, and can cross-examine people like Bill Barr...
" Mr. Barr ...you said you seen no evidence of voter fraud, please explain
Your example is irrelevant. If this were a court of law, Trump would likely be charged with sedition and other crimes. He would not be charged with lying about election fraud. Exculpatory evidence would likely be in the form that could prove he had absolutely nothing to do with either illegally attempting to overturn the election or blocking Congress from conducting its affairs or the insurrection. Whether he believed the election was rigged or not would not constitute exculpatory evidence either way. If anything it would constitute motive.

I find this statement to be bizarre.

In the absence of a countercase that may or may not impeach the credibility of various forms of "evidence", how exactly does one possibly come to the conclusion that there is not much to dispute?

What information that has been presented, specifically, could have been disputed by opposing position panel members? I ask because I had that very discussion last night. If Jordan had been on the panel, which testimonies would have been discounted?

Of course there is. The night before Jan 6 the president told Christopher Miller they would need 10,000 national guard and directed him “to do whatever you need to do” twice.

But that won’t be presented in this committee. Because this committee is a fraud

Given he told Miller to “do whatever you need to do”. I would say he was trying to protect the Capitol.

But again this committee is a fraud so they won’t produce that evidence.

That's not true, foreign nationals enjoy the full protection of OUR Constitution when in OUR courts of law.

Really? Tel that to the prisoners in Guantanamo who were waiting for trials years later.

Exactly, the Select Committee was charged with discovering what happened on January 6th 2021, what led up to it and why it happened and how to prevent it from happening again.<-PERIOD

IF "I" were a tRump supporter I would AbsaByGodLutely want this to go to court so Donald Judas tRump could clear his good name.

I think they were held under war powers, not our legal system, not that I agree with it (wasn't that a republican administration - why yes it was), but that's how they got around it.

I prefer to go with our democratic process whereby the assumption is you're innocent until proven guilty. Why would I want to prove my innocence? That's stupid.

Oh I would LOVE for this to go to court. But the Dems will NEVER take it there. That’s why they’re putting on this dog and pony show. If they had evidence to send him to court, Garland wouldn’t have to watch with interest on prime time television lol. He would have it and criminal proceedings would have already begun.

But you don’t so you’re running this kangaroo bullshit court on tv

If this were a fact finding mission would they or would they not present Christopher Millers testimony before the House as evidence on trumps behalf ?

I'm just saying that if all the evidence the Select Committee has presented is false and partisan "I" would definitely want my day in court. 8)

Wrong... if your witnesses testimony's can be cross-examined... in a court of law ... which it isn't... Barr's statement to Trump could be proven false that would only prove Trump correct that there was election fraud... .. so where would that put the case?. but as we are playing "this ain't a court" and going with the Perry Mason TV production of "Kangaroo court", we are being fed hand picked witnesses , like Barr, who need to validate their statements...

Wake up America... This is just another impeachment hearing thrown together by Pelosi and the legislative branch doing the work of the executive branch to side step any legal requirement to present a sham one sided view.

That just it, "it's a fact finding mission", there is no "defense". There is one table, not two, and no witness box. As has been pointed out by your side; "its not a trial".

But as we play the "this ain't a court" game... it is just a hearing...
Let Mark Levin tell us his opinion...spot on

Levin illustrates the "kangaroo court" nature of the January 6 committee hearings.
"Let me ask you a question. Let’s say you are gonna go to a court of law. There is no judge. There is no jury. You don’t have a lawyer. You can’t call witnesses. You can’t provide exculpatory evidence, you have to watch. And watch," Levin said. "Let’s say the jury is chosen by Nancy Pelosi, but don't worry its bipartisan, we have 7 Democrats and 2 Republicans and there's media in the back taking pictures, rolling cameras, taking notes, as ‘scribes’ for the prosecution-the prosecution being the jury... and then reporting, ‘oh we have new findings, new information has come out.’ It's not a perfect parallel but good enough, that is pretty much what's been going on with this January 6 committee."

""what led up to it and why it happened and how to prevent it from happening again.""
So you are for finding out about Pelosi's involvement in the before, during, and after lack security? Would you like to find out if she was involved in calling in the guard after Jan. 6? How bout' before... or do you want to steer as far away from it as this committee is doing?

I'm for finding out why the insurrection happened; sure. I hope they do address security because, as you've been told, it is NOT Speaker Pelosi's responsibility. Or, as you like to leave out, Mitch McConnell's.

Im not sure if its as much ignorance, as it is, they simply dont care anymore. The only thing that matters to conservatives is power. And they will go to any lengths to keep it.
