Please give the details of how you think your life will be ruined.

Trump's presidency didn' t directly affect my life, but it did hurt many others.

    Let me know.

I'm not a Trump fan, but wanted to chime in anyway. A good friend gets "news" from Facebook and has not been keeping up with the pre-election back-and-forth. She wasn't planning to vote but another friend convinced her to register and to vote. She did. She also said that she would leave the country if Biden won. So, yesterday, I asked her when she was going to apply for a Passport. She laughed. Interestingly enough, she has no idea how Biden will ruin her life. She just doesn't like him. Sometimes, that's all it takes. Our whole society is based on some huge popularity contest. It's ridiculous.

His proposed lockdowns may well ruin the economy for generations
His ban on fracking and the energy industry will financially ruin millions of american families, lest we forget skyrocketing gas prices
His socialized medicine will make me pay for thee for the benefit of Insurance industry... well Obamacare is still doing exactly that
His open borders/amnesty policies will flood the country with cheap labor, depressing american wages
His China policies will send millions of good middle class american jobs to China
    .....
I can certainly triple this list but this should suffice

The good thing, he is a lame duck from day 1 so in all likelihood he'll fail in all/most of the above... but not for the lack of trying.

PS as far as Trump is concerned, booming economy, full employment, growing wages, world peace, 4 peace treaties... Were you talking about ISIS terrorists.... as far as I can tell, they were the only ones hurt by Trump. Well libs were hurt mentally but it really is their problem and not his fault.

The economic recovery is already stalling because of SARS-CoV-2 circulating widely.

He said he won't ban fracking.
We don't have collectivized production in medicine except for the VA and military. You seem to have mistaken subsidized care for low-income folks with socialism.
He isn't in favor of open borders. These are open borders...

    This is not...

    No more than Trump.
"Triple" away because you haven't laid a glove on them yet.
He isn't planning to ban fracking, run open borders, or collectivize medical care.
Economic growth in Trump's first three years was 0.1% higher than Obama's last three years. Unemployment continued down under Trump.

Bush after 9-11 and Obama did a pretty good job of protecting Americans from terrorism.

I have an idea for you...

    Stop propagandizing the forum.

Fortunately through the wisdom of our Founders, there is a firewall that will prevent Biden from doing most of what he intended. Republicans got a tactical win.

I find it interesting, but alarming, that most Biden voters seem to have voted against Trump, rather than for Biden. Which seems to me to mean that they don't understand government, that it doesn't matter if you like the candidate's personality or not. This would seem to be in large part a female problem, as we females tend to lead with our emotions. The coverage of Biden's victory speech last night seemed to show that it was mostly women in attendance. I saw very few men.

This seems laughable to me. Do you not remember all the terrorist attacks in those years?? Very few since Trump became president. Prepare for them to return.

Frankly, I don't understand why liking someone's personality even matters. I didn't vote based on Biden's personality but his plans and policies over what Trump has offered these past four years. I think the highest position in the world should be based on a popularity contest and, that it does, speaks volumes about how little most people feel about the real direction of the country.

I also believe we see a "snapshot" of candidates' supporters which is NOT a sample of that population subset. I'm sure there were many men within the tens of millions that voted for Biden which is not negated because they mostly didn't show up at rallies and/or celebratory speeches.

The migrant trains that will no longer be stopped go right through my backyard in Arizona. My odds of being violently attacked, raped, or robbed will go up significantly,

    Ruin my life? Unlikely.
Result in the implementation of laws and policies that will weaken the US, internally and externally, and compromise the the rights of all Americans? Likely.

Totally absurd. Bush and Biden did a pretty good job. How about giving them credit when it's due?

I don't think he'll be doing much of anything except passing executive orders I disagree with and fighing it out in SCOTUS.

It's not a particularly bad outcome - government is best when mired in gridlock.

This is one thing I find so fascinating on these forums (and I am not picking on either of the posters I quoted, just good examples)

One poster makes completely unsubstantiated claims with no foundational basis in reality or truth, zero sources, no data, just opinion, buzz words and established talking points and it is liked and “Quoted for truth.” — the other side posts graphs from governmental sources, data sets, independent sources and sufficient analysis to show what is being discussed.

This is the difference between posters who are here to troll or vocalize conspiracy and someone who is here to discuss and promote truth.
It also appears to fall down between party lines, not always, but often.

Trump's presidency did affect your life.
Do not worry, your lives will not be ruined... Biden is not a bad guy .. I believe that Biden as Trump wants best for USA citizens .. It's just that many ( 70 Million plus ) liked what Trump
did to your country in the last 4 years.

I agree. Alot of times people vote on whether they find a candidate likable instead of actually looking at policies. These days politics has became to "pop culture" also. When that happens things usually go sideways.

"Stop propagandizing the forum" yet claiming Obama did a pretty good job of protecting Americans from terrorism. That's why we suffered far more terror attacks under Obama than Bush. It got to the point where it was becoming increasingly unsafe in American cities(San Bernardo and Orlando pulse shootings.)

Democrats are weak on national security and that's my stance unless they can keep up these gains, which do exist despite your testimony to the contrary.

Oh, puhleeze--there were damn few Americans killed here by Islamist types after 9-11. I was in London twice when terrorists struck. We're way better off in North America.
You just can't bring yourself to give credit when it's due. Oh, well...

IMO, it's time for the political middle to assert itself in this country. Some of the noise coming from the extreme ends of both parties is unnecessarily divisive.

Gun control, taxes going up, loss of liberty, plus having a demented, corrupt, bribe-taking, and influence-peddling "leader" for the next four years hurts all of us, whether you recognize it or not.
