Our intelligence agencies say Russia did do the hacking. I will believe our FBI, CIA, DIA, and NSA long before I will believe Assange. Assange is an agent for the Kremlin.

He has endangered our national security several times. He is wanted by our government. He is living in exile in the Ecuadorian embassy in London.

In my book, he can't be trusted.

We don't have to like what he has done to still give him earned credibility. He has not been proven to be a liar in all these years. I cannot say the same for some pieces of the agencies you listed. That's just fact after all this investigation has revealed and I'm open to being shown where Assange has lied. I have no allegiance on the matter. I just want truth.

Right, that is a separate issue entirely.

Unfortunately, some, like Trump, are too stupid to realize that. The indictment has nothing to do with Trump's campaign staff or the collusion issue, except for one thing.

In the indictment, Mueller charged that some of the Russians, posing as Americans, "communicated with unwitting individuals" associated with Trump's 2016 campaign "to seek to coordinate political activities." https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...an-nationals-election-interference/345720002/

Unwittingly? How does Rosenstein know that? He doesn't say.

How you are going to get the truth in a way you desire is in serious question. Our intelligence agencies say Russia did the hacking. Assange has harmed our national security several times, and there is no reason why any American should trust the Aussie. Even if he is telling the truth he still acted as an agent for the Kremlin. The Kremlin wanted Trump to become our President. Assange helped the Kremlin attain that goal with a four-month daily barrage of anti-Clinton material.

In other words, even if Assange is telling the truth, which I seriously doubt, he still acted as an agent for the Kremlin. That is the truth and you know it.

That is a very important point.

The lady doth protest too much, methinks is a figure of speech originally found as a quotation from the c. 1600 play Hamlet by William Shakespeare. It is used in everyday speech to indicate doubt in someone's sincerity.

Trump brings up his innocence at the oddest and most inopportune times. He caused this reaction.

Arizona Congressman and Iraq war veteran Ruben Gallego furiously lashed out at the President calling him a 'psychopath' for making victims of the Florida school shooting about him.

"You are such a psychopath that you have to make even the death of 17 children about you. America will regret the day you were ever born."

No doubt about it, Trump brings out the worst in people. It is how he works. The rep was a little over the top, but only a little. I find myself agreeing with him. I could not believe it when Trump used the occasion to declare his innocence once again.

What I know is he has never been caught in a lie. Russia, the CIA, the FBI, DOJ, NSA all have. He said he got none of the Hillary emails from Russia, but did in fact get them from someone from the US. The "agent of the Kremlin" talk is just made up conspiracy theory stuff. He acted on his own against a person whose acts he had written proof of. It just happened to be your candidate and her cohorts from the media, the administration, etc. That's the truth and nobody has proven any of the DNC, Hillary or Podesta (or Huma or Weiner) emails to be fabricated or false.

He also attacked the George W Bush administration viciously so it looks like he doesn't take sides. He releases information the public would not otherwise see. As distasteful as that is, do you have anything to prove he is actually an "agent of the Kremlin" or did you make it up? It's either fact or conspiracy theory, but so far it appears conspiracy theory unless you have something tangible to prove otherwise.

If Trump is not the agent of The Kremlin, he is an agent of chaos.

Yes, he does. Invariably, he takes Russia's side and against our country. By taking the side of this fugitive from U.S. justice, so are you.

    Now why is that?

Did a Trump supporter just accept reality and acknowledge the truth of the matter? Boy, wouldn't that be refreshing. Nearly all of Trump's fans ignore reality and come up the dumbest of replies.

When I posted what Rosenstein actually said in the indictment, one of Trump's friends asked if I thought Rosenstein was stupid. Jesus!

The Russian disinformation campaign began in 2014. What this means is it evolved to fit the circumstances. When Trump became the nominee of the GOP, the Russians adjusted accordingly because Putin wanted the jerk to become our President. Putin succeeded.

    Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes. The questions were biased and slanted, the facts incorrect. Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!

He's most of all...not very bright. The reason that he is successful at garnering attention is due to his over-the-top focus on himself and the sad reflection on our society that allows dumbed-down sensationalism to be brought front and center. OMI...Trump is a symptom of the arrival of Idiocracy and hopefully it will wake the smarter and better of us up to the point of making sure nothing like this ever happens again. We should be very ashamed of this juncture in our history.

There are still liberals in office. Of course the "Russia Question" will continue. Finally, a short piece of propaganda from good ol` Sandy.

I can agree with the agent of chaos. I can't help but believe that's intentional. And he is enjoying his ability to yank the chain of the MSM
I'm not taking Russia's side and it's an insult for you to say so. My patriotism is unwavering, but so too is my BS detector. Julian Assange has never been caught lying. Why would I not believe him? Do you think he'd throw all his credibility away over this? I do not. Truth should come from where it lies, not from where your allegiances are.

Trump became unhinged during his four-day stay in south Florida, finally returning to work late Monday. We are told he didn't golf, the poor man. His extended weekend vacation was preceded by the Rob Porter fiasco in the Trump White House. Things are getting pretty bad.

Chris Cillizzi writes, "From the campaign he ran to get to the White House to how he he acted since arriving there 395 days ago, Trump seems to take pride in dashing expectations of how a president should act, speak or tweet. He views his election as a middle finger from the Average Joe or Jane to the "elites" -- political, media, etc. -- and seems to take as his guiding light a healthy disrespect for even the idea of being "presidential.'"

If it was the GOAL of Russia to create discord, disruption and chaos within the U.S. then, with all of the Committee Hearings, Investigations and Party hatred, they have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. They are laughing their asses off in Moscow. Get smart America!

    5:11 AM - Feb 18, 2018

“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” Mr. Trump said during a news conference here in an apparent reference to Mrs. Clinton’s deleted emails. “I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”

Sixteen months later Trump is still talking about the election and Hillary Clinton, who retired from public life sixteen months ago!

    Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

Now that Adam Schiff is starting to blame President Obama for Russian meddling in the election, he is probably doing so as yet another excuse that the Democrats, lead by their fearless leader, Crooked Hillary Clinton, lost the 2016 election. But wasn’t I a great candidate?

    4:43 AM - Feb 18, 2018

    Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

I never said Russia did not meddle in the election, I said “it may be Russia, or China or another country or group, or it may be a 400 pound genius sitting in bed and playing with his computer.” The Russian “hoax” was that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia - it never did!

    4:33 AM - Feb 18, 2018

    Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

Finally, Liddle’ Adam Schiff, the leakin’ monster of no control, is now blaming the Obama Administration for Russian meddling in the 2016 Election. He is finally right about something. Obama was President, knew of the threat, and did nothing. Thank you Adam!

    4:22 AM - Feb 18, 2018

    Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

General McMaster forgot to say that the results of the 2016 election were not impacted or changed by the Russians and that the only Collusion was between Russia and Crooked H, the DNC and the Dems. Remember the Dirty Dossier, Uranium, Speeches, Emails and the Podesta Company!

    8:22 PM - Feb 17, 2018

Last, but not least, the sickest of all.

    Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

Very sad that the FBI missed all of the many signals sent out by the Florida school shooter. This is not acceptable. They are spending too much time trying to prove Russian collusion with the Trump campaign - there is no collusion. Get back to the basics and make us all proud!

    8:08 PM - Feb 17, 2018

This guy has a very serious mental problem. The leadership of the Republican Party needs to grow some and impose Section Four of the 25th Amendment, the occasion when a President is unable to perform his duties.

You've obviously never served our great nation. From someone who has, you're welcome for the freedom to make such idiotic statements. You're so blinded by your loyalty to anything anti-Trump that you seek truth where it may not exist while ignoring it where it does. People like you are why he won.

Yeah, Sandy just crossed the point where my patience ends. I have no use for loyalists to a cause, regardless of truth, and even at the expense of truth. Blind loyalty has no place in society.
