Rosenstein was prescient enough to know that leftist loons would assume that if any Russian anywhere meddled, at any time, then it would follow in their minds that Clinton was cheated ... by Trump. He was just trying to clarify that "we're not there yet," though of course his note of caution is falling on deaf ears.

Anyway he didn't say even say that team Trump was innocent so there's no reason to be complaining.

It is called transference. The extreme right or the extreme left know their faults. So, they transfer their faults onto others.

The blind hero worship of Trump is a cult. There is no other explanation for why they admire a man who is so incompetent at his job that he is dangerous. They adore Trump due to his faults because Trump infuriates normal people. That is the textbook definition of an occult.

Knowing this, Trump's followers transfer that fault to their opponents. In other words, those who believe in global warming are members of a cult. Trump's extremists know that isn't true. It's just a tactic.

He has some kind of personality quirk I'd agree, but in various ways don't they all? At least he seems to be achieving something positive where the economy and employment numbers are concerned. I mean if the BBC admits it, which it does through its correspondents on a regular basis, then it must be true. [IMG]

I'm beginning to think 'the Russian issue' will never be over! It's just sooo weird I can only suspect that this anti-Russia hysteria is being hyped up because 'our lords and masters' don't have the faintest idea how to cope with Islamic State . . . kind of putting IS on the back burner, and hoping they'll be out of office when the jihad starts to get serious.

Our Lords and Masters (lefties) were looking for a narrative, and found ir.

IS is dismembered, because we have a man in the WH.

    IS will fling rocks.

    We will kill them.

Mueller is pulling at the loose threads on trump's coat and we all know what happens when you start doing that. With Clinton, it was land deals to blue dresses. It will be fascinating to see where it leads with trump. He has so many loose threads hanging from his coat.

Folk who worship on the alter of Obama/Clinton should not speak of either competence or hero worship...

Trump has done very little to stimulate the economy other than sign a handful of EO's that can be rescinded by a signature. He signed a tax reform bill written entirely by Congress with little or no input from him other than cheering. The tax reform bill will add a minimum of $1.6 trillion to the National Debt. There has been no other major legislation signed by Trump to stimulate the economy. In fact, the tax reform bill is the only piece of major legislation signed by Trump. By far, that is the worst legislative record in American Presidential history.

Wall Street and CEO's love the Republican Party because there are less restrictions during a GOP reign. This would account for the fact that, following the November 2016 elections won by the GOP, the stock market took off two and a half months before Trump took office. During the week of Trump's incomprehensible s**thole statement, the White House was in chaos and on the defensive. The stock market set a record every day that week! In fact, there have been several weeks of incomprehensible blurbs from Trump -- we just experienced another one -- and, except for a few days of correction, the stock market continues to climb. The economy is doing great despite Trump, not because of him.

Actually, Obama with several legislative accomplishments to relieve the effects of the Great Recession, along with 76 straight months of job growth, in eight years has more to do with the rising economy than Trump and his 13 months. This is even more true when one realizes Obama inherited the worst economic disaster since the Great Depression.

Ironically, the two worst economic disasters in our nation's history occurred during Republican administrations, the Great Depression and the Great Recession. Recovery took place during Democratic administrations.

There is a price to pay for the loosening of regulations and that has as much to do with climate change as it does economic history.

Since you can't use the statements I actually make, you invent them then criticize me for what you imagined. It is a silly, infantile, and transparent tactic used by many of Trump's fans.

In fact, they learned that kind of lying from Trump.

The indictment had nothing to do with who conspired with the Russians. It is indicting 13 Russians and that is all it is doing.

It does, however, say that members of Trump's team unwittingly collaborated with the Russians. https://www.vox.com/2018/2/16/17020948/russia-indictments-special-counsel-trump-unwitting

Why Rosenstein acted as judge and jury when evaluating the involvement of Trump's team in an indictment is anyone's guess. Maybe he wanted to make Trump feel better.

I've noticed that you're not exactly his biggest fan ( :roflol: ), but when the BBC (which hates him even more than you ( ), and never misses a chance to slag him off!) keeps on reporting how well he's doing, and broadcasts documentaries showing how satisfied those who voted for are with his performance so far, I just have to believe it. There is another one with ties to Russia. Rick Gates is an indicted former senior advisor on the Trump campaign. His lawyer pleaded guilty to lying to Mueller. Alex van der Zwaan, a 33-year-old Dutch citizen, pleaded guilty Tuesday to lying to investigators in Robert Mueller's special counsel investigation, after he covered up his discussions with former Trump campaign aide Rick Gates and a business associate based in Ukraine in September 2016, while the Trump campaign operation was in full swing.

CNN reports, "Van der Zwaan becomes the fourth guilty plea in the Mueller investigation after Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos and former national security adviser Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to investigators last year, and an online supplier of fake usernames pleaded guilty to identity fraud last week. Mueller has also indicted 13 Russians for their work to influence the 2016 presidential election through online social media."

Now get this, van der Zwaan is the son-in-law of Russian billionaire German Khan, who is one of the most prominent businessmen in Russia. Khan co-founded Alfa Group, a large financial conglomerate, and was recently named in the Treasury Department's list of Russian oligarchs close to Putin.

That is an awful lot of Russians.
Certainly, that is your choice. I just presented another point of view. A point of view you did not dispute.

Yeah, I have my differences with Trump. Who among the intelligent doesn't? 8)

Those who voted for him did not want a President, a leader. Those who voted for him -- as can be seen from their posts -- are somewhat intellectually challenged. They voted for someone who is much like they are.

Because of their limitations, they voted for chaos and instability in our government. They knew Trump was incompetent and actually rather stupid. That could be seen by his campaign. That has now been proven hundreds of times during his Presidency.

His base succeeded. Our government, the White House, is chaotic, unstable, and confusing. Trump continues to put out infantile, vengeful, deceitful, and moronic tweets that prove he is an idiot. His base smiles at their success. This accounts for their continued support for Trump.

    Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

Question: If all of the Russian meddling took place during the Obama Administration, right up to January 20th, why aren’t they the subject of the investigation? Why didn’t Obama do something about the meddling? Why aren’t Dem crimes under investigation? Ask Jeff Sessions!

    6:40 AM - Feb 21, 2018

Really, this guy is a barrel of laughs. He forgot he is the only one on the planet who thinks Russia did not interfere in our election. Want proof? How about Trump himself?

December 2016, "I don’t believe they interfered," Trump said. "That became a laughing point, not a talking point, a laughing point. Any time I do something, they say ‘oh, Russia interfered.’"

January 2017, "As far as hacking, I think it was Russia," he said. "But I think we also get hacked by other countries and other people."

Pressed on his apparent acceptance of the intelligence agencies’ findings, Trump backpedaled.

"All right, but you know what, it could have been others also," Trump said.

November 2017, "Every time he sees me, he says, ‘I didn't do that,’ " Trump said. "And I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it."

Asked again if he believed Putin, Trump called several top U.S. intelligence officials "political hacks," and argued that other matters were more important.

"You have President Putin very strongly, vehemently says he had nothing to do with that," Trump said. "Now, you’re not going to get into an argument. You’re going to start talking about Syria and the Ukraine."

I could go on, but there is no sense in belaboring the point.

Trumpians believe the MSM is filled with fake news. Why, Trump even told them that ... several times. Consequently, they don't watch the news. They are absolutely clueless as to what is going on. This explains their posts. All of them are much like this one, meaningless.

There is a great deal of evidence against Trump. Some of this evidence is on this thread. You have not questioned any of it. Instead, you have ignored it.

Time and time again Trumpians defend Trump with their own ignorance.
