China was not a signatory to the Montreal Protocol because at the time of the ratification China was not using Flourocarbons. Should they become signatories - bloody oath they should BUT since the hole in the Ozone layer is finally healing and climate change is a bigger threat then the international community decided to concentrate on CO2 emissions

There is a mystery known as the Seneca Guns. They are a series of loud booms heard off in the distance, along the South-East Coast of the US, from time to time. Scientists and others have investigated this for decades but the source has never been identified. There are similar mysteries in a few other locations around the world.

I strongly suspect that these phenomena are in fact explosive releases of methane gas caused by methane clathrate hydrates. They occur in the deep ocean so the event itself is never witnessed, only heard as a distant boom. They might occur due to fissures, minor or major geologic events, erosion, for whatever reason, a large clathrate reserve under pressure is suddenly exposed to much lower pressures and/or higher temperatures.

When a reserve of clathrate is suddenly exposed to warm water, explosive releases can result. This made me think of The Seneca Guns. So I checked and sure enough, there are known clathrate deposits located near the SE US coast as well as other locations reporting similar mysteries.

There have also been reports by mariners of the ocean boiling. This also smells a bit like methane to me. :) Large releases of gas could potentially sink ships.

In bold above, and could be construed as evil ocean serpents...

Meh, the ozone hole has only been recorded since 1979. No one knows it’s natural variability over the various earth cycles of weather over centuries.

Nice cop out. You cultist folks have all the answers, oh wait, you have no answers, just a tax plan. Its pathetic how you preach at everyone to change their ways and pay a tax, and all the while your prophets leave carbon footprints that a thousand deniers couldn't duplicate. Climate changes, nobody denies that, we just see no need to join a death cult over it. In fact I remember a time when climate changed four times a year and we just called them seasons, now there are two seasons. Global warming, when its hot, and Climate change when its too cold to call it Global warming. Your fraud is up, for decades you have lied to us and we can clearly see that now...

So much attitude, so much arrogance, so little knowledge. Sad.

    You're a trump lover. Right?

Actually the concern didn’t start until 1985 or so. What we don’t know is it’s history beyond about 60 years ago. That is a very short time in history.

If I'm on a boat 400-500 years ago, and the ocean around me begins boiling, and my vessel is tossed about or damaged or destroyed, with or without the effects of grog, I might conjure up a story about sea serpents...this does not sound weird to me??

Like I said..."you are much too biased to have an open-minded discussion on climate change"...
