Why do you spread totally false lies like this? This has been disproven so many times over, its negligent to keep repeating it.

Yep, force a woman to go through nine months of risking her health and the agony of delivery to give away a baby because someone can’t have one, there are thousands of babies available.....but they’re not white

Forced breeding does do significant damage. You’re so flippant about the effect of pregnancy on a woman… Obviously you know nothing about it

Teaching biology and being a man does not prepare a girl for pregnancy. I think I’m going to write a book what it feels like to be kicked in the balls by a horse

    BZZZT Wrong again!

They PROVE that you were just pulling that BS about all those people willing to adopt out of your nether regions. Those imaginary "hundreds of thousands" of people wanting to adopt unwanted children just don't exist therefore adoption in NOT a viable alternative to abortion. You will just end up with MILLIONS of unwanted children being raised by the government.

Those laws were obstructing women from legally obtaining 2nd trimester abortions which is a violation of their rights under the Law of the Land.

That is a vast improvement over not being allowed to be born at all.

Your lack of any grasp on reality is duly noted.

Studies PROVE that unwanted children have a far greater likelihood of failure and abherrent behavior. Why is that an "improvement"?

    Why? How?

If a person is never born they do not suffer. NO, sometimes never being born is better...

...and it's noted how now you're off on yet another tangent after not being able to address all the many posts (like # 301) proving you wrong...

Fits on a bumper sticker (like all rightie nonsense) but doesn't fit real life and is another mindless OLD saying for when one has NO ANSWERS :)

Besides, it's only OTHER people that you want to suffer, you sure don't ...(see post 301)

Would you like to have other people decide how much suffering is "good for " your "soul" ???

Easily said when you don't have to live it.

You want more humans, period. You don't seem to care what the cost is in terms of government intrusiveness, poverty and human misery.

Abortion is complicated -- you have to take the fetus into account, because at some point a zygote becomes human enough to have rights. But you ALSO have to take the woman into account, and recognize that having the government control your body is highly intrusive and should be accepted as a last resort. You ALSO have to accept the consequences of your policy, such as more families living in poverty and more children being raised in abusive situations by a parent that didn't want them and likely blames them for negatively impacting their life.

I'm pro-choice because I believe every child should be a wanted child, and that highly personal decisions with no easy answers should be made by people themselves whenever possible, not the government.

There IS a solution that addresses everybody's concerns and would reduce abortion to a marginal procedure used only in rare cases: Implant everyone with long-term, removable birth control when they hit puberty. Adults who want to have kids can remove the implant whenever they want.

If we come up with implants for both sexes, then having a baby will only happen by mutual consent. Nearly every baby will be wanted, and abortion rates will drop to near zero.

This should be a no-brainer: giving everyone control over their own reproduction, and eliminating unwanted births due to ignorance, poverty, stupidity, etc.

Typically, however, the people who oppose abortion tend to ALSO oppose this idea. Leading me to conclude that many abortion opponents don't actually care about abortion, per se.

Good post!!!!....and you are correct. Anti-Choicers are NOT concerned with "life" or aborting it , they are concerned only with controlling and punishing women.

They say they'd make exceptions fro abortion if the woman was raped.....showing that they want to punish women for having CONSENSUAL sex.

They want to cut funding to all entities that support CHILFREN, like Welfare, WIC, SNAP, Medicaid, they don't even want poor kids to have healthy school lunches or get an early education with PBS !!

Seems they sure don't like those "precious lives" once they're born and can no longer be used to control women...

Sounds good to me. Though the conservative Catholics would probably oppose it.

Im saying that pro lifers only care about a fetus. They dont give two craps about the baby once its born, nor the mother. In fact at that point, they will accuse them of being moochers.

Why are you do adverse to forcing people to do something? Government does that all the time. It's part of living in a civil society.

Why do you enjoy forcing others to do something....

When do I get to decide how much suffering is good for YOUR soul ? :)
