The GOP is a true cult of mind control.

Mormonism fits the definition of a cult in that it believes in the Bible and something else, that something else being another holy book, that contradicts the Bible. Like other cult leaders like Muhammad, Joseph Smith was basically a dirty old man. He seduced married women by telling them if they gave in their dead relatives would go to heaven.

Evangelicals are cultic in that they have built fences around The Bible.

You prefer disorganized religion? How about a disorganized air traffic controller?

Yes....... and this seems to set them up in a special way to be involved in the 117 trillion USA petrodollar Derivatives market crisis that is looming....... The LDS control the State of Utah and thus are in a special position to do something artistic that I begin to explain in post #51 here and by #58 the idea is becoming pretty clear.

Could a Utah State Dollar save the USA Dollar?

I was reading the first several chapters in the book of Mosiah this weekend and I get the impression that Joseph Smith was gifted......
and the White Horse President prophecy is very relevant for our time period due to the very real possibility that the election may have been stolen from Mitt by voter fraud...... which..... in the sight of G-d...... makes Mitt The White Horse President.... and his wife Anne.... The White Horse First Lady and.... it certainly is true that the constitution is hanging by a thread at this time......

Beyond the butchering of the Bible with the Smith "Inspired" translation, you will not have me saying mainstream Christianity is any better than Mormonism.

My objection the the "inspired" translation is not the creation of any new doctrine, but the attempted editing of an ancient text and pretending the original never existed. I don't appreciate being lied to about what a famous text originally said being the reader of books that I am. Thankfully, Smith never completed his customized Bible in his lifetime and today the main LDS church (as opposed to the hundreds of smaller LDS groups) just sticks to the King James Bible.

One way to look at this is that Latter day Saints were praying for their leadership.......
to be given wisdom and divine guidance ..... so those prayers were answered.... and flaws in their church were addressed so that they could be prepared for a situation that their church........ and the State of Utah...... and the Province of Alberta here in Canada.... are facing in 2019?????

I am rather impressed with their online Bible..... I find that it is far easier to quote than many other translations......
For example when I want to quote several verses from Isaiah 35 or 45 I find with their online Bible I can do one copy and paste whereas with other online Bible I have to quote each verse separately.

That probably is the King James Bible they are making available online. If it is the "Inspired" translation, go through Genesis and try to find the verse Joseph Smith slipped in prophesying about himself. Also if it is the "Inspired" translation, you won't find the Song of Solomon.

So the Song of Solomon is an error to be removed and covered up from LDS reading eyes?

The Bible of course is full of errors and misconstructions.

I like the Book of Mormon as an American religious narrative, the best of its time by far.
