South African White Farmers Arming Themselves As Protection

There were 52 murders a day in South Africa 2016-17, and I blame nations such as Britain and the US for pressuring them to end the apartheid system without helping them find a just and workable alternative. In their self serving political minds, the US and especially the UK didn't take into account the welfare of either the white farmers or the blacks whose situation right now is appalling.

Oh yes, it was politically correct to force integration between people with different standards, and opposing cultures, so instead of helping them reach a solution that would benefit both - they destroyed a wealthy nation, and one in which both blacks and whites could have lived harmoniously and comfortably.

The best solution would have been a federation of different states, where the wealthier states could have helped raise the living standards of the poorer ones.

Coleen Engelbrecht was strangled with an iron cord, while the intruders cut her husband’s throat. The killing has become another episode in a wave in brutal farm attacks in rural areas. According to South African News, in April such crimes made headlines as six of them were registered within just three days.

apartheid ****ing sucked, what the hell are you on about, talking like people loved it?

 

Separating people sucks when they are not given equal rights - like the Russians in the Baltics. It doesn't suck otherwise because people want to live among their own and in their traditional lands. I was talking about federalizing South Africa so each state could have a certain amount of autonomy, and yet still get support from the wealthier areas. What you have today are the blacks living in poverty, and the white farmers being shot because of it.

Now they want to pass a law to confiscate the lands from the white farmers. It might stop the killings, but do you think anyone is going to gain from that? I don't, more than likely it will end up like Zambabwe - which at one time was called Rhodesia, and was the wealthiest country in Africa.

 

How exactly are you going to repair racial divides in countries where within living memory they were second class citizens to people who invaded from another continent and violently subjugated them? That's a big order. It would have taken the best statesmen in human history to avoid racial tensions causing problems like that for South Africa.

 

The ANC have achieved the impossible. They have created the most unequal society in the world, multiple times more unequal than Apartheid. You really need to think about this because Apartheid was a system that discriminated by law against it's own citizens. Yet the ANC managed to beat Apartheid when it comes to inequality and deaths, thousands more die every year than they did under Apartheid.

How did they do it?

Mismanagement and Corruption, like cancer spread throughout the entire body, from the highest level of government, down to local municipalities/councils and the entire police force up to the highest levels. Citizens are left to fend for themselves, what is the use of democracy if you cannot walk down the street without risking your life. Murders, robberies, rapes, hijacking, carjacking, break and enter, tens of thousands of people die every year.

The white farmer issue

The white farmer issue is a government sanctioned initiative to brutally murder, torture, rape and kill white farmers to motivate them to leave their land. Currently the constitution requires the government to pay farmers for their land, the ANC have found another way.

Outlook

The future looks grim, because the economic growth are round 1.5% and forecasts are not looking good either. This spells disaster for South Africa due to 50% unemployment among the youth (of which the black population is increasing fast). The economy will not be able to sustain the fast rate of population growth.

Political outlook

There really are only three main players in south African politics, I will mention 4

• ANC (62.15%) African National Congress (In favour of Land Expropriation)
• DA (22.23%) Democratic Alliance (Liberal Democracy and Free Market Principles) Mmusi Maimane
• EFF (6.4%) Economic Freedom Fighters (Aggressive driver of Land Expropriation - radical and militant economic emancipation movement) Julius Malema
• IFP (2.5%) Inkatha Freedom Party (Party representing the Zulu tribe)

In 2019 is South Africa's next election, it is expected ANC's votes will fall below the 51% needed to form government. If the ANC forms an alliance with the DA (the only party I believe to have what it takes to properly govern South Africa) South Africa may be able to pull back from the brink. However it's more likely the ANC will form a coalition with the EFF who are driving land Expropriation and communist policies. Corruption, crime and violence will escalate, millions will die and when it's finally over, a decade... two decades... later, South Africa will resemble just another African country on the beggars list, with millions dead, hungry and homeless.

yes.... South Africa is going to be a lot worse though, in 2000 when Zimbabwe had land reform there were 12 million people, South Africa's population is 56 million plus between 2 - 5 million illegals.

Rhodesia was forced to succumb to it, mostly by Great Britain for its own political expediency. If Britain cared for the people, both blacks and whites, they would have helped them work things out. Instead Rhodesia turned from the wealthiest nation in Africa into Zambabwe, the poorest nation in Africa in less than two decades.

a relative of mine was the one who introduced apartheid, the family doesn't speak of him he's an embarrassment...my coloured south african friends always found that disconcerting to be drinking beer with a relative of their apartheid oppressor..

I don't need to, I'm very familiar with S Africas history ...and no I don't feel any guilt for something I had nothing to do with...

 

This is what many people from the outside don't understand. They are very quick to condemn South Africa's current white generation for Apartheid, holding them responsible for the deeds of older generations. Yet they themselves take no responsibility for genocides in their own country... double standards.

See my reply above, also during apartheid large swatches of land was given to blacks... miles and miles away form the cities. (refer Lesotho and Swaziland.. others) I suggest you let native Americans choose the land they want... let's see what happens then.

Apartheid made the mistake of choosing for the native population. It would be shameful to copy the Apartheid government... Native Americans should choose what they want and how much they want. That would be fair right, since that is what is happening in South Africa
