You can watch Nip/Tuck today in 2020. You can watch Breaking Bad, True Blood, Shameless, Game of Thrones, Star Trek, you name it..., does it not offer some kinda proof about the sublime implications of relativity and light? Light, mind you, is composed of theoretically massless particles. And I’m watching these now from True Blood season 4. Massless particles from almost a decade ago.

The photons weren't stored, just the information about the original photons.

Course it could be argued that the photons were brought out of stasis, just as was Scotty from TOS, who Geordi brought out of stasis in TNG episode "Relic". :D

If you're watching via internet over fiber-optic lines, then the information about the original photons is photons ;)

Course then you have the problem that you can watch something over and over, and take the same photons out of stasis time and time again, which reminds me of TNG episode "Second Chances".

The information was stored for decades first. ;) And it gets converted from information to photons and back several times in the process of transmission. And it's not like I have photonic relays in my computer.
