Oh, this is getting so very exciting, very methodically Mueller is peeling the layers of the onion (so to speak) back to reveal what actually happened. And the result is going to be,( what everyone who worked on the HILLARY campaign knew since election night )& that is the trump campaign worked with the Russian's to win the 2016 Presidential election & it was set up long before trump threw his hair in the ring---it was not a free & fair election, whether (some) were "unwittingly" or not, ignorance is not an excuse. If they were to lazy to read the Campaign election laws, they had no business even being in the race. And when trump was notified by the FBI that Russian's were trying to infiltrate their campaign, trump did nothing to stop it,(as we know "now",by all the guilty plea's & indictments)plus his wording on the campaign trail---But who is the one that raised the red flags for me , it was Rudy Gulianni, seems he knew exactly when some bad information was coming on HILLARY ( when Comey stepped up to the mic 11 days before the election) I think Rudy has some very important information & it would not be a surprise if he has been singing to Mueller-he could barely contain himself in interviews----We'll see--Go -Go- Go- Mueller---

Only the most ardent defenders of Don, and Russians apparently, find the evidence lacking in proof of guilt.

According to one Russian journalist who follows IRA many of those named haven't actually worked there for years.

But hey, verdict first, trial afterwards, right?

It's more like looking under every rock and pebble he sees to find something -- anything, not to peel back the onion. Peeling back the onion implies you have something in the core but have to crawl through a maze to get it. And in case you haven't noticed, or don't care, Mueller has NOTHING -- never has for over a year.
Another minor correction: you say what every Hillary worker knew election night; it should accurately say what every Hillary worker decided election night.
Finally, for the record, when Obama was told of serious Russian messing with the election in early 2016, he also did nothing until December when he needed it to support my 2nd point.

Well, RodB,there is a "core", & you don't know what Mueller has, but I'm betting Mueller is working on that core---But, I've asked you before, " If you have something the rest of us don't, spill it" or all your doing is trying to defend that fake in the oval office!
No, incorrect,I have explained in detail on this forum, why people that worked on HILLARY'S campaign" Knew election night" has nothing to do with "your word" deciding----
But, hey, did you work on the HILLARY campaign? If you didn't ,which I suspect is true, you are commenting on a subject you have no knowledge of---so,there's that---
You know,RodB, trump could put an end to this, he could have erased all doubt & inquiry long before the election ---Ask yourself why trump won't release his tax returns or why he is lying or covering up or devising stupid Nunez schemes, or firing people when the heat gets to close to him? when people that worked on his campaign got caught, trump was on tape before they got caught, praising them & saying what position they were in on his campaign, but when they got caught, it was trump saying, they were coffee getters, no importance, why was that?

--in my daily newspaper this morning February 18,2018 there is an article inviting all us residents to come to learn how to use our brand spanking new voting machines, where all the equipment-touchscreens,ballot boxes, desktop PC are"all" freestanding & "none" of the equipment is connected to the internet--great, I love that my state of Nevada is taking the FBI'S warning-sure hope the rest of the country is following the warning also---But, one has to ask the question, why,if no votes were changed is the FBI so intent in their warning for all states to invest in new voting data programs--
How many more "hints" does the FBI have to give us for you to realize that our Democracy is being jeopardized!

So you and Mueller and probably people working for Mueller because they were told to, and nobody else know there is something there, but neither of you choose to share that information with the public for over a year. How nice!

So, trying to set up a straw-man defense does not help your case---just saying---
But,then in the mean time here is another tid-bit for you to ponder---We have recently found out the trump's personal lawyer paid trump's porn star $130 grand to keep silent a month before the election, out of his pocket (yeah, if you believe that,I have a bridge for sale)in which he set up a phony LLC in another state to transfer that pay off, he said he never got reimbursed( Why would he say that?) Oh, I know,So, he could give trump cover for violating Campaign election laws, but why would trump's lawyer have to set up a phony LLC for this pay-off?----So, let's just take that little piece of information & wonder, how many other phony LLC's did said personal trump's attorney set up for him, to perhaps launder money? Then, you have to ask, launder money to who? Like I said, trump can end this today, he could release his taxes, he can't use the audit excuse anymore--His personal attorney just got his & trump's undies in a twist over this one---Let's hear your defense for this one!

Robert Mueller’s indictments of thirteen Russians who conspired to swing the election to Donald Trump came as a shock to almost everyone in politics, even some of the best connected people in the capital. The most obvious upshot of the indictments is the shocking expansiveness and aggression of the Russian campaign, and the large number of contacts between its operatives and Trump campaign, both knowing (as in the case of Veselnitskaya and Donald Jr.) and unknowing (as in the indictments.) The conspiracy, at least on the Russian side, is bigger than we knew.

But there’s another important piece here: the American political class had no idea these indictments were coming. So far as most political observers knew, Mueller was making a slow and methodical case against Trump officials about Trump campaign finances, the meeting between Don Jr. and the Russians, and Trump’s obstruction related to James Comey. It seemed that as far as the Russians themselves there wasn’t much happening, and as far as collusion it centered almost wholly on the meeting. This in turn led to some concerns that the probe was either too narrowly focused, or that there really may not have been much provable contact or collusion beyond the Don Jr. meeting itself.

But crucially, Robert Mueller knows things we don’t know, and apparently is running the tightest, leak-free ship in the country. Jonathan Swan at Axios was struck by the same thing this morning and just barely beat me to it:

    • We’ve only been reading about [Mueller’s] interviews with Trump associates and White House officials — because these are the folks that Washington reporters talk to.
    • But Mueller has been picking apart complicated, secretive and well-funded Russian networks that could only have originated from the Kremlin.
    • Mueller’s indictments are not the work product of some frivolous fishing expedition to indict Trump, as some of Trump’s conservative allies have claimed.
    • This shows that Trump was wrong when he said during a debate that the DNC hacker “could be somebody sitting on their bed that weighs 400 pounds.” It’s not fake news.
    • This shows Mueller has been doing consequential work, not just sniffing around the White House looking for an excuse to indict Trump.
There’s another intriguing component to this as well. There are now three possibilities, all of them damning for Trump. First is that Mueller’s probe has discovered Russian conspiracies that were wholly unknown to law enforcement previously and to the President, in which case his legal jeopardy is far larger than he knew. Second is that the FBI knew about much of this previously and brought it to Trump’s attention, but he chose to lie about it, which would dramatically increase his jeopardy further. Or third, the FBI knew and Trump never read or listened to his briefings, which would itself be an impeachable offense.

No matter what, it’s clear that Mueller is working at a much deeper level than we knew, and that Trump and his team are in much bigger trouble than we might have guessed based on available information. That doesn’t mean that Mueller has a magic bullet that will end the Trump Administration. But it does mean that until all the indictments are unsealed, most of the chattering classes, myself included, are at best making educated guesses based on incomplete information.

So, no answer to my posts---wonder why!
But, in the meantime-----Every suspicion I have had about this election is being legally found true----So--care to change your narrative?

You do not care one whit about my replies, other than to use as a foil. You have your narrative down pat and it ain't gonna budge.
The only thing actually found true about the election, as far as I know, is that Trump won. What are your suspicions that have been adjudicated to be true?

The extent of your misleading exaggerations seem to have no bounds.
There have been many dozens of fraud and conspiracy to defraud cases indicted or adjudicated by the FBI so far in 2018. Why didn't Rosenstein give long press briefings about any of them? Because he desperately wanted everyone to think this rinky-dink indictment was one of the most colossal ever. He convinced you.

In the context of the indictment of contacts with the Trump campaign, why do you include names like Don, Jr., and Veselnitskaya when they were not mentioned or hinted at in the indictment, nor was the mountain nee anthill of the Trump tower meeting that you are betting the farm on.

The Russians actually meddled in our election? OH! MY GOD! Say it isn't so! It of course is a bad thing but it ain't world war III. And why is the new information about Russian meddling jeopardizing to Trump???? Why is Trump in danger for not acting on the meddling information when presumably Obama, who sat on meddling information for most of 2016 and did nothing, seems to be perfectly acceptable. And you claim a president not paying attention to FBI briefings is an impeachable offense. REALLY? Are you joshing??

You say, "....there really may not have been much provable contact or collusion...." You think??? Maybe that is why we have heard nothing of collusion since Mueller began.
Mueller’s indictments most certainly are the work product of some frivolous fishing expedition to indict Trump. Rosenstein is making it such a big deal to tell us they have done really good work with the millions of dollars we gave him.

Finally, for a little bow on top, Trump was not wrong when he said, “could be somebody sitting on their bed that weighs 400 pounds.” when at the time nobody knew for certain who did the hacking.

Yeah, but it is fitting together like a jigsaw puzzle--another little tid-bit happening today is Mueller is questioning & charging Manifest & Gates former lawyer (who is the son-in-law of a Russian oligarch)there's that Russian connection again---So, yeah, it is deeper than we could have imagined---stay tuned---

You folks just can't seem to detach yourselves from this misrepresentation of the truth. Even if it were true, it doesn't excuse Drumpf's inaction now that the degree of Russian interference is known in greater detail. As many of you like to say, Drumpf won-----Hillary lost. With winning comes the responsibility of protecting the country's electoral systems. A responsibility he gets failing grades on, all because of an unwillingness (until he grudgingly did so following Mueller's indictments) to acknowledge Russian operations to make sure their chosen candidate was elected. Are you or are you not disappointed he has not directed the government to do more in a coordinated way?

I am under the distinct impression that Trump's people, Rosenstein and Mueller for example, are doing a top notch job -- haven't come up with squat but are putting forth a great effort.

Yes, we've heard that delusional song before. But what of Don's failure to act not only on what we know the Russians did but on what the intel agency heads are telling us they are still doing?
