In my opinion. Look at how fast it is headed in the wrong directions. We are in big trouble with no way out. Prepare

People need to know how worthless the dollar is now in relationship to days gone by and inflation. Add on it no increase in pay and we are doomed...

Yea, sure, that is what 95% of the people are doing. Thank God there is only 5% that are struggling slightly above the poverty level. Thank God for Trump and his cronies... Everything is better now.

Is the sky falling again? Armageddon? Crumbs?

Did you bother actually looking at pay increase statistics? They've been going up since Trump was elected.

They're higher than they've been in the last 10 years.

Please send me all of your worthless dollars. I like them for sentimental reasons. I will even pay P&H.

    Thanks,

They started going up under Obama. In fact, the 2015 increase in real household median income was a record.

But I appreciate you would have no clue about that when you get all your info from RW propaganda.

Sure, after declining during 7 of his 8 years to the lowest point since 1870.

Kinda hard to keep going down that hard, but he tried.

    Complete nonsense.

Sure, given the Great Recession that the last Republican administration.

But I was just correcting the erroneous statement in your post that real wages and/or income were not improving before donald took office.

Hopefully he will continue Obama's trend and won't **** things up. With his ballooning deficits and trade wars, I'm not entirely optimistic.

you are supposed to get V shaped recovery from the huge low Obama inherited so not surprising he had a good year even within the slowest recovery since Great Depression. But make no mistake liberalism is anti business so you don't expect good business performance. Look at New Deal/Great Depression for example.

don't be absurd that recession was caused by massive liberal interference in the housing market to get people into homes the free market said they could not afford.

    Sure.

The federal reserve was the major cause of the recession brought about by subprime mortgage defaults and the housing crash, but you already knew that.

Helped by liberal demand of giving loans to people who couldn't afford them in the first place, of course.

Since he's shredding everything Obama put in place, doesn't seem like Obama will get much credit.

And you are *not* supposed to do austerity when the economy is trying to recover form the worst recession in 80 years like the Republicans did.

Economic growth has historically been significantly better under Democratic administrations. But make no mistake conservationism is pro 1% so you don't expect average working people to benefit.

Prove your claim that the 2015 increase in real household median income was a record "after declining during 7 of his 8 years to the lowest point since 1870."

We had a libertarian "business can regulate itself" guy at the head of the Fed. That was a mistake. But there were many more important causes of the Great Recession, but you knew that.

Helped far more by the greed of brokers and execs making huge bonuses pushing loans on people who couldn't afford them in the first place, of course.

When has Obama ever gotten any credit for anything in the RW propaganda world you live in?

But irrespective, my only point was to correct the error in your statement.

Of course. And all those brokers and execs getting massive bonuses for pushing loans on people who couldn't afford them had nothing to do with it. They were just innocent bystanders, right?

See how silly you sound, dear?

Housing prices are at a 36% increase, housing sales are weak, starts are flat. But hey June inflation was only 2.2% for all the rest of the crap you buy.

Nobody would have been paying the brokers massive bonuses if the Fed was not pumping out money, Fan/Fred was not buying or guaranteeing the mortgages, and there weren't 312 other libcommie programs to get people into homes that the free market said they could not afford. Does the liberal think it is coincidental that it happened in home finance and not car or furniture finance?? Isn't thinking fun?? See why we say liberalism is based in pure ignorance? Sorry but what other conclusion is possible?
