I am a 2nd A activist, well known with my congress critters; but aside from flaunting some feminine charms for cursory access & one on ones - it would seem that my state senators are 'locked' into their own ideologies despite, en masse, turnouts that I help muster. The house members are largely emotionally tormented morons without any objectivity or legislative contemplation ... Forget the female legislators, in general, (hardest for me to rationalize with) even as 'one of their own', lol. (ok, slight hyperbole to make da' point...) What experiences do y'all have within your respective states?
I met with my local state senator in 2013 to discuss the proposed laws, without any effect. Not surprising considered that he made a slip of speech early in our conversation where he admitted that he had already made a deal to vote for the control, meaning he put politics over the Constitution.
Pretty much the same, I can go to Tallahassee and meet one on one with "representatives," but the only ones that actually want to sit down and discuss any issue, are for the most part Republicans, the Democrats have their minds made up and are not willing to listen to anything that counters their narrative.
There is not a single politician to be found in the united states, be it at the city level, county level, state level, or federal level, on either side of the political divide, that is worth the equivalent of their weight in refuse materials.
Ayuh,...... Livin' up here in the kingdom of coumo, the progressive paradise of the planet, formally known as NYState,...... We're loosin' the battles, 'n possibly the war,...... In this totalitarian shiphole the U.S. Constitution is used for toilet paper in the king's castle,.......
In WA we're ignoring state legislators and electing local law enforcement who will stand up for the Laws of The Republic against democratic mob rule. If Seattle wants to abolish The Constitution, we can't stop them. But we can opt out so long as we keep electing constitutional Sheriffs.
We're still pushing for Constitutional carry in Texas. H.B. 357 has a chance of passing this year. We have had a RINO speaker of the house bottlenecking all pro gun legislation for years. He is out, so let's see where the new guy stands.
