I truly believe that the Cleveland Browns were right when they drafted Johnny. Sure he might have been a bit flashy or self-important but if the major league(s) could cope with the likes of Deion Sanders and others then why couldn't they deal with "Johnny Football". You have to bear in mind that the university Manziel came from unquestionably held high standards/rigors to which players were required to live up. Johnny could have done wonders for the Browns, of that I'm certain. But the management and/or coach was more interested in having the guy warm a danged bench! It was rumored that Johnny was guilty of showing up late for a practice or two. I dunno. It just seems that the case against Manziel was weak: extremely weak. I don't know if Manziel wound up playing football in Canada or what. IMHO he was a victim, not an offender. I do simply wish him well.
Shocking to me that a player that good in college could not at least be a back up in the NFL. That is a million dollar a year job.
