you're posting a data assessment for ancient times

    here's the graph for relevant/recent sea-level rise:

"Today the rate of sea-level rise is increasing due to climate change."

I make no claim. I read the graph. Here it is again. Perhaps you can explain why the nearly stable flat line on the right is stable and flat....

For those that are convinced beyond reasonable doubt that climate change does indeed exist, and that mankind is indeed disproportionately responsible for such developments coming about, the obvious question of "so what" must be asked with regard to the above. Do you have solutions for how to go about actually addressing or otherwise fixing the problem? Do you have proposals that go beyond taxes and credits for corporations who are regarded as most responsible for such?

If not, if no such proposals exist, then it is time to simply stop talking about the matter completely. Being right on the matter is of no importance if you cannot contribute anything beyond proposing pollution taxes, which corporations can easily pay, but will ultimately do nothing to address the problem. Funding cannot undo the damage done to the ozone layer, or filter out greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

Come up with something that will not only work, but also not require the passage of a century before a measurable difference of improvement can actually be demonstrated.

My point exactly. When viewed from the perspective of time, your graph is meaningless. As in, the dangerous apocalyptic hyperventilation becomes less appropriate. Sorry, this doesn't fit your narrative because it wasn't supposed to.

So, the dishonesty here is yours, as in attempting to invoke hysteria instead of rational discussion. But don't stop. It's fun.

i already demonstrated that sea-level rise is showing up in miami

Since, according to the IPCC, relevant warming is after the 1950s, show us where sea levels accelerate.

BTW, still no acceleration in any tide gauge.

Gosh, so unusual during an inter-glacial and coming out of the Little Ice Age. LOL

Exactly right. The purpose though is something different. The purpose isn't to protect anything, it's to fleece the sheep of their resources to further consolidate the wealth of the world for the very few. The fact that this is completely antithetical to the progressive public agenda, it is, none the less, true. Matt Tiabbi wrote an exceptional piece on this in Rolling Stone a number of years back. The left don't have answers. They just have greed. It's time to recognize exactly this point. and move past it.

when graphed with 20+ thousand years of old data, it's not visible

when looked at up close, you can see what's happening in a relevant timeframe

    no, i agree with rohde

and you aren't discussing rationally, you're avoiding the truth:

    rohde accepts agw

This is hysterical. I mean seriously. We're talking about <3.5 mm of predicted rise. Do you know how long it take to make 1 cm 3 years. So, every three years of so, the water rises around 1/2 inch. Run for the hills.

Wrong again. No one knows how much warming is natural and in fact there are many known unknowns and unknown unknowns.

notice how you're saying that, not me

i've been talking about current and recent rises

in regards to future rises, rohde's name is on this prediction/source:

" In the short term, sea level rise is projected to be 6 to 10 inches by 2030 and 14 to 26 inches by 2060 (above the 1992 mean sea level). Sea level has risen 3 inches from 1992 to 2015. In the long term, sea level rise is projected to be 31 to 61 inches by 2100."

So the science you do does not begin with a hypothesis? That would explain a great deal.

I'm the one that doesn't know what science is? Ok, we'll stick with that...

Still proves nothing about any of your claims. CO2 from humans? Naturally. How it all works in a coupled non-linear chaotic system? Unknown. We have an hypothesis that observed science is not playing nicely with.

all you're doing is showing how you play dumb and try to create doubt

" Fossil fuel use is the primary source of CO2. "

it shows that co2 from fossil fuel is the primary cause of agw

You clearly don't understand science or what constitutes evidence other than repeating logical fallacies and alarmist pap.
