oddly enough, I can already hear the lawyers calling the county jail trying to get a hold of this guy, so they can turn around and sue the store owner for shooting him in the back... I already hear the phones ringing at that county jail... admitting he shot him in the back, just might send the right district attorney into a fit of liberal rage and demand the store owner be held accountable for the thief being shot in the back... I already feel the pain in my left knee, it predicts rain and liberals...

 

i would of said as i fired the shot he turned. if it was a revolver that would fit do to the second or 2 delay for the rotation of the cylinder..

Sadly, the store owner may regret saying he shot the POS as he was fleeing since the threat had ceased. Perhaps he should have stated that the perp yelled "The Bengals suck" before he shot him as a CYA.

That would be you. The store owner didn't choose to be robbed right before the holidays. He hasn't been charged with anything and a thief is a thief regardless of color so there won't be any hate crime charges. Your scenario is just a liberal wet dream. Why did that man get shot? i think the owner didn't care if the guy was black he was rob twice by him and didn't want this to happen 3rd time the money lost would of put him out of business, he was frustrated that the Cincinnati detectives where not pursuing the 1st case and he knew they would more likely not pursue the 2nd robbery, do to the racial bias tension in the neighborhood against white cops

Ok, he (store owner) shot him....what did he gain? What is different then if he called the police? The bad guy was leaving.

He was leaving with the store's money. Waaa the bad guys been shot waaa. He would have been long gone by the time the police showed up. Or maybe you'd rather the store issue him an ATM card seeing as how this was the second time this guy robbed the place - and the last time. Plus, as Steve N points out, the shop owner probably saved his life. Cops see a gun in your hand and they usually shoot to kill.
