Retail is not going to ever be as strong as it once was and coal is never coming back as well as large scale manufactoring. Those promises of Pres Trmp were hollow at best.

That is because the left was still blaming Bush 5+ years in to Obama administration.

    I miss Radio Shack.

I knew their days were coming to an end when you couldn't find a radio on the shelves.

Wait, you trust Clinton News Network?

Besides, there is a term called "market saturation". For example, I as wondering today if I should buy a new CD but soon realized I have over a hundred of CDs, some of them not even listened. So, I decided I will just explore what I have, instead of buying new stuff I don't really need. Happy I did that, because now I'm listening to a Brahms CD that I didn't really payed attention to, and I'm verry pleased.

Moral of the story - retail decline doesn't really mean anything. :floating:

Radio Shack, like department stores, are a brand of the past. They failed to adjust their model the current times. Radio Shack would have been a perfect company to use the showroom and online sales model.

The anti-Trump whining is getting more and more pathetic. What's kind of funny is the same liberals that whine these massive stores are closing are totally silent on the amount of energy it saves from heating, air conditioning, lighting, and other energy costs. So much for their supposed care about the environment...

All due to Democrat policies, starting with the CRA (Clinton signed into law) , rescinding of the ban on investment houses trading in mortgage securities (rescinded by Clinton), and the out-of-control runaway of FANNIE/ FREDDIE, under Charles Dodd etc.

    ALL DEMOCRAT POLICIES and ACTIONS.

Obama showed positive results and was passed a failing economy and a failing foreign policy.

Guess what. President Obama's approval rating will skyrocket as the American People realize the huge mistake they made letting Clowny McFF take over the White House... well, at least symbolically since he can't seem to stand living in that horrible retched hovel that we real Americans see as a national treasure.

Same thing with coal. Coal is NEVER coming back. Nobody wants it. Even China is trying to reign in its pollution because some of its cities are unlivable at times due to smog. Great Britain is trying to go coal free... the list goes on.

Add to that the fact that automation has already hit coal miners hard and it will only get worse. King Coal will never be more than a minor lordling from this day on. It simply can't compete with the glut of oil and national gas as well as the proliferation of "green" energy and green-collar jobs. Who imagined that we would "Drill baby drill!" the coal industry right out of business?

Of course you will. Even though the GOP has full control of Congress it's not like they are going to accept any responsibility for their destructive agenda.

Fortunately, the American People are already getting sick of the GOP/Trump's **** and its showing in special election numbers.
